The welcoming was really welcoming and polite. The old house is beautiful and our rooms were decorated with good style. Yard with the poolside, we hoped we would have more time to spend there! breakfast was fresh and simple (no burned croissants or anything as someone has said). This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.
