Best stay in Japan out of several! It's the perfect place if you want to prepare to climb Mt Fuji or explore the area. The owner has a lot of useful tips and made my trip much more worthwhile.

Very nice hosts! The house is clean and the rooms are big. We recommend renting bicycles to explore the area.

Very nice spacious Japanese style room, with newly furnished floors and bathrooms (the lobby was simple and under construction, so seeing the super clean room was a pleasant surprise!). I liked that the toilet and shower are separate rooms, there were amenities available to take, mini fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water. It was nice that we could also leave our luggage before check in (although it is strictly at 3PM since the owner is working on the construction himself). We could also see the Fujisan from our window, and is a short walk to the famous Honcho street, Gekkouji train station, a big supermarket and Arakuyama Sengen Shrine.

Hiro (the host) was so kind with us, the best of this house. It is a traditional japanese house very beautiful and clean.

One of the best experiences we had living in a simple Japanese style guest house. It's very near the bus and train station. It's very clean, and the futon beds are comfortable. The size of the room was just nice for the three of us. The best part is that you get to see Fujisan just out of your window.
