The rooms are simple, clean and functional, good place for sleeping, while in front there is a terasse for eating, chatting or simply rest and watch the ocean. You feel the calmness and freedom in the garden around.

Very friendly and thoughtful family. We feeling myself like at home. It's truth. Seems likes arrived to a parents, which very happy, that you came. The territory is interesting, the house is simple , but there are all needed facilities. It was good sleep at night, doesn't warm. Tasty and fresh food. And of course people, everyone! Thank you!

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

Big Game - Yala by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. We stayed at Big Game safari camp for 2 nights, we had a very stylish glamping tent that we stayed in - it was very comfortable and immersive in the jungle nature. Big Game organised a full day safari for us which was amazing! We saw so many animals (tusk elephants, leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles, water buffalo, etc). They prepared great breakfast, lunch & dinners for us also & we really enjoyed our time at Big Game. Would recommend to a friend!
