Located within the Wallingford district in Seattle, Rooftop Patio with Waterview, Private Garden & Grill 3BR 3BA- Modern Cityscape has air conditioning, a terrace, and mountain views. My grandson, 18 years old, was so taken with the property he kept saying this was how he was going to live after university and he was going to decorate his dorm just like the place. I agree with him, very well appointed and clean. The rooftop view blew us way ! The location was great. We walked to the U station and took public transportation to downtown, very cheap and efficient.

This motel is a 5-minute drive from downtown Seattle and the University of Washington. The motel offers free high speed Wi-Fi in every guest room. Fantastic motel. Requested to stay in room 226 which was the room which Kurt Cobain of Nirvana used to stay in. The staff were happy to oblige and the room was excellent. Great value for money and with the added historical significance too. If you’re a Nirvana fan, book room 226 and stay here. Even if you’re not a Nirvana fan it’s still a great motel. The night manager lady was lovely and super helpful too.
