Where do I even begin… Anathan’s place was an oasis, a safe haven for me after I spent a few days in the hectic and chaotic Colombo. From the very first moment that I arrived to the very last minute that I left, I always felt taken care of, spoiled almost, and above everything, I felt at home. In fact, Anathan’s place was so comfortable, so peaceful that it felt almost difficult to get out and explore the town. Obviously a home isn’t a home without its host. And for that, I have to thank Ananthan for going above and beyond to provide me with a comfortable stay. He always made sure that I had enough for breakfast, always asked if I wanted more tea and coffee (and yes, please), and even brought me along to the ceremonies at the Nallur temple where his family and friends were also there, welcoming me with unparalleled warmth and hospitality. Even though I was a solo traveller, I had never felt lonely during the entire stay. Ananthan was always there should I need anything. It brought me great joy and peace just to sit by the patio and listen to the singing of the birds and the rustling of the trees. I was sad that I could not stay longer. And I’d return, time and again.

Facing the seafront in Delft East, Delft Village Stay has free bikes and a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. Phenomenal! Tommy has something very special going on at Delft Village Stay. The accommodation, facilities, vibe and island itself are excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.

Situated within 2.8 km of Nallur Kandaswamy Temple and 4.8 km of Jaffna Railway Station in Jaffna, Jaffna Palmyra Hotel provides accommodation with seating area. Lovely quiet place not too far away from Jaffna center. I loved it and would visit again.

Check in/out was easy, and the hosts were responsive and communicative. The breakfast was also wonderful, so don't miss out on this! I highly recommend to all, and wish I could have stayed longer!

Set 2.3 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, Senthil Complex offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff :) Good breakfast too! Would recommend
