amazing views, very comfortable and cozy apartment set in a beautiful mountainous area and the place outside is lovely decorated and planted and then there is some cute kittens walking or sleeping around. couldn’t ask for more. :)

Horst and Ernesto are amazingly friendly, they have a great complex with the garden, very comfortable rooms, every little detail is making you feel welcome. Location is great, you can admire very nice views of the area and the night sky! If you're a cycler or a hiker - don't get scared by the location, hosts offered me a pickup from San Bartolome (I had a car and didn't need it, but they do it routinely). They also provide a rich dinner and breakfast if you need them, the fridge is full with beverages, you can even request laundry. So it's perfect for any type of traveler, in my opinion!

Horst and Ernesto are amazing hosts -- they really made me feel at home. Everything was taken care of (extra water, blankets, flexible meal time, tea) and they were so kind to pick me up from the bus stop. This has become my newest favorite retreat. Will definitely come back!

Our hosts Ernesto and Horst were very friendly with tips for hiking and visiting nearby towns. The breakfast was overflowing with lots of local produce (meats, cheeses, eggs, coffee, juice, fruit, yoghurt, bread) and dinner was healthy and delicious. Ernesto even makes his own cheese (very yummy!) and tofu! The garden is lovely (and provides fresh vegetables), the pool is a bit smaller but heated (by solar power), the apartment is very comfortable with essentials such as a fridge, fast wifi, comfy beds. Added bonus for animal lovers: the adorable cats and dogs to play and cuddle with, but the dogs stay in the pool area and the cats do not come inside the apartments.

The location of the place is great to disconnect in the middle of nature. The swimming pool and the garden are ideal to have some chill time and the hosts are especially welcoming. We got some homemade dinner and broccoli from the garden ! We definitely recommend the place, we wish we could have stayed one more night.

lovely hosts. clean well equipped apartment in the mountains and close to a town. fantastic garden with lots of exotic non native plants, and vegetables. beer and wine in the fridge at cost price. we had their dinner; really good. pool was 31 degrees and very clean. there are 3 apartment separated from the hosts base, one large enough for 4 or 5 with an excellent view, the other two large large and for couples.
