Palma de Mallorca is beautiful. It was at the very end of October - beginning of November. I didn't know before that November is the dead season in Mallorca. But there is a special beauty in deserted beaches, a quiet embankment. Still warm. The water is also good. But the wind, the sea is rough, hotels and restaurants are closed for this month. All amenities close by but German area close to airport £25 euros to Palma Thought it would gave been great opportunity for our adult kids to get out & about but heavily surrounded by drunk German men . If your out and about in day great but at night noisy streets Street sales often get on your nerves Beach looked lovely and easy access with a little bus up and down all day

Great place to stay for sure. All the people working there are very polite and helpful. The pools are very good and clean so you can enjoy the whole day there. Very close to the beach just a 7-minute walking. I really recommend Playa de Palma resort

Well organised and clean front and beach. Shops are fit for purpose and offer a ranch of things from needy kit to cheerful crap. Plenty of drinking holes and many very focussed on German visitors who can give as much and dress as badly as most Brits in football shirts. Food is wide ranging and not overly priced but quality doubtful. I liked the effort which goes on to make the beach front and beach free from litter and the rat and tat sellers. They were there lurking about the side streets but not pestering you. On this occasion I did not find myself smelling drugs which was a pleasant experience.PeterUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy our visits to Playa de Palma and everytime stay at the Negresco Hotel. There are many restaurants to eat along the seafront, but recommend if you love surf and turf Mama Muus (just off the promenade) Excellent steaks and reasonably priced. Avoid Gingers for food as poor quality and expensive Very easy to walk the promenade as virtually traffic free

The room on the 6th floor was with a view of the pool and the sea, cleaned every day. The room is smaller, but it is sufficient for a vacation. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff was very pleasant (from the lady at the reception during check-in, to the restaurant staff, maids and others). The food (breakfast and dinner) was varied, tasty, in reasonable quantities. I would say excellent! I will definitely return to this hotel.
