Dinard is a great location for a family beach holiday but also for visiting the numerous sites of interests in that region of Brittany and Normandy. Whilst there, we visited St Malo, Le Mont St Michel, Dinan, Fort La Latte and Le Val-Andre amongst many others. Lots of history but also countryside. Great boat trips from Dinard to lots of places. Easy to get around on foot - lovely Promenade Du Clair de Lune which followed the coast around the bay.

Dinard is a hidden gem very close to St. Malo.
Dinard is a hidden gem very close to St. Malo. It is an elegant seaside resort with wide and clean sand beaches. The town itself is spotless and very well managed, apparently very affluent as houses are big and well maintained.

We've been here so many times, and never tire of it. We tried some different restaurants this year as well as our "old faithfuls" and had decent grub every time for reasonable cost.
The weather was stinking hot, but we were 5 minutes down the steps to St Enogat beach which is the best beach in Dinard for swimming in my opinion. The tide times were OK and we got two late afternoon almost full tide swims (roughest waves we've ever had there - got knocked off my feet the second swim!), and a gorgeous morning half tide swim in the calmest sea and hardly anyone on the beach. Go again? You bet!

A fantastic, buzzy town, perfect for a night’s stay before the ferry trip home from St Malo. Good shops and restaurants and the beach front was ‘happening’ with live music, stalls etc (on a Sunday in August).

I spent a few days in Dinard at the Annual British Film Festival. The atmosphere was wonderful and it was great that everything was in walking distance. A truly unique place, which I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Beautiful walks, beaches and culture.
We had a room with a sea view, the sound of the waves was a nice wake-up call in the morning.
For those who like quiet and lazy mornings, this will not be very suitable, life in this part of the hotel starts early in the morning :)
Thanks to the interior of the ancient hotel, you can travel back in time, some 100-200 years, it's amazing!
If you are traveling by car, you should book parking for your car in advance, finding a parking place on the street is a real success, and parking is quite a challenge.
The house was extraordinarily charming, and had soul. It was very special. The house was beautiful and spacious. All the facilities you need in a house. A wonderful garden to eat breakfast in or on the indoor porch. The location was quiet and a short walk to a lovely beach, and just a couple of kilometres into Dinard. I would love to return one day. Most accommodating people with key delivery and collection, thank you.
Well stocked cookware, utensils and stove. Gracious, attentive property manager. Very clean, spacious bedroom and living room. Grocery store across the street with excellent produce, meat and seafood. Close to bus stop, short walk to the bay and beautiful walking paths. Gorgeous architecture of local homes. The ability to cook and not have to eat in restaurants. Very comfortable mattress.
it is in a classic older building but the interior is completely new. The room was spacious with windows and views of the bay on one side and the city on another. the building is on a high ridge with easy access to the water and promenade below . it is a relatively short walk into the old city. The breakfast was varied and delicious. we were treated very kindly by the hotel employees.
It’s a large home with a comfortable layout and a convenient parking space outside. The sunny extension space and garden are pleasant too. The staff was quick and efficient. There was a glass door that wasn’t locking which was a security hazard and they fixed it quickly.
it was quiet, very cosy and included generous little touches like bottled water, bathroom extras and extra pillows. Maxime was a charming host who could not do enough for us upon arrival. The paid breakfast next day was THE BEST IN FRANCE and highly recommended!!
We had an absolutely fantastic time, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and situated right next to the beach (we had wonderful views from our balcony). I can highly recommend the hotel, we stayed for a week and I was sad to leave.
The property was really modern clean and comfortable. it was great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. The position was perfect for exploring Dinard itself and local attractions. Also liked having its own parking space .
I have been coming to Dinard for decades. Everything about this apartment is perfect. It is spotless, the host is wonderful, the parking is very secure, the apartment is large and comfortable. Absolutely fantastic location.
Perfect location, closed to everything, the beach, the shops, the markets, the walks. The flat is spacious, bright and clean and private parking which is very important in Dinard.
