The welcome and friendliness were exceptional and so was the view. We arrived early and were accommodated without fuss. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a very good place in the village 15 minutes away on foot. We were concerned about noise from the highway at night but that was not a problem and I am a very light sleeper.

Located in the village of Les Houches, Les Campanules is a hotel located a 5-minute drive from the ski slopes. It offers rooms with a furnished balcony and views of Mont Blanc mountain range or the surrounding forest. A spa including a sauna, hammam, fitness room and lounge area is available for an extra charge and can be rented for private use upon prior request. Regional cuisine is served in the restaurant and packed lunches are available upon request. You can enjoy drinks beside the open fire in the bar lounge, and a buffet breakfast is prepared every morning. Ski storage and a billiards table are provided on site at hotel Les Campanules. There is also a shaded terrace and a children’s play area. Free parking is possible on site and the hotel is accessible by the E25 motorway. Lake Geneva is an hour’s drive away.
