We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were perfectly comfortable. The kitchenette had all the necessary things, and the room opened onto a shared courtyard with a beautiful potted garden. Shower had good water pressure. The host is very hospitable. Please be aware that this is a Greek village hotel, not a resort— it is a clean, comfortable, slightly old-fashioned, and well-priced stay in an absolutely beautiful village in one of the most beautiful regions of Crete. If this is what you are looking for, you will be very happy with your choice. By the way, Greek friends told us about this place, so it gets a thumbs-up from the locals as well!

The couple in charge of this place are incredibly nice and accomadating. The food is cooked at your request, at almost any time you'd like. It's delicious and an amazing price per meal. They even went above and beyond to give me directions for hiking mount ida and packing me a lunch to take

Loves the staff working there and the village it's located in. Very homey and welcoming. The shower is wicked small but you're in Greece in a village. Laugh at it :)

The location is surrounded by mountains with excellent views. The Taverna has a lovely terrace and the local food served is of very good quality, especially the breakfast with eggs from the owner's hens.

Iannis and Dina were wonderful hosts. The room was great with a view of the mountains, ideally located. Dina cooked a great meals and Iannis was very generous with sharing his knowledge and love of the Psiloritis and Fourfouras.

Our ensuite room had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle and small selection of crockery and cutlery. The views over the town and mountains was stunning, and the apartment block (which is separate to the taverna, about 5mins walk away) was in a central but very quiet location. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and the food they provide at the taverna is delicious, and you get a lot for your money!
