Booking.com didn't make it super clear at booking that I would pay at book in at the hotel, so that situation was really confusing. Once booked in, staff were very friendly throughout and the stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious enough and had good facilities. The coffee machine was great and the use of Rituals body wash/shampoo was also a nice touch.
I enjoyed the continental/full Irish breakfast and there was enough choices to enjoy the breakfast. The coffee offered was okay but I really have a high standard for morning coffee (it was from those machines and the beans used not the highest quality). Overall very enjoyable and again staff were helpful and quick to help.
The room was somewhat noisy due to trucks delivering goods at a pub I believe outside my room. This isn't something the hotel could help, but it did make it tricky to get to sleep. Luckily I always travel with earplugs and an eye mask. The noise did die down and later on the room was cozy, quiet and enjoyable.

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green-spaces of any other European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.
Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.
Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.
Being one of the most youthful European cities, Dublin has a vibrant nightlife scene with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin is a wonderful city with immense history.
Dublin is a wonderful city with immense history. The LIttle Dublin Museum is fun and worth 35 minutes. Take advantage of walking tours, download and listen. Go to Trinity Uni, Book of Kells, the Library, & Immigration are a must.....eat at restaurants serving local, good food. Walk almost everywhere. I am an elder and had no trouble getting around. And, there is a great taxi app too. Temple Bar area is interesting, but not the place to spend much time.

We stayed in the Temple Bar area. Very lively.
We stayed in the Temple Bar area. Very lively. Full of restaurants and bars. Walk ability from our hotel. Booked day tours and meet locations were no more than a 5 or 10 minute walk.
Definitely pack for all weather. We went in Mid-April. Had rain one day; however, it was cold and windy.
Very easy to get to with Dublin Airport Shuttle, close walk to Connolly Station and very close to museums. Affordable eats nearby. Wifi and lots of room in onsite restaurant/cafe. Took trip to Ireland last minute and was able to get accomodations. I would say without a doubt that staff is friendliest most helpful staff I have ever met - 18th trip to Ireland and have travelled to many many places for business and holidays. Sleeping in pod was new for me, but if you ever slept on train - no difference.
Lovely hotel, very clean and efficient. Room was beautiful, shower was amazing and spotless. Security was very good within the hotel, considering the concert and other events in Dublin which were on. Price was reasonable enough for Dublin, especially considering the eventful weekend that it was. Staff were outstanding, happy to help and very kind. Would definitely stay here again, so accessible and easy whilst attending the concert and easy to get in and out of the city centre too.
Great location with nearby tram stop making getting into city centre and other places easy. My room was very comfortable and very clean. The communal area with plenty of seating and a bar is very comfortable. Continental breakfast was great. Easy check in and check out. Always a member of staff on hand to help. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and that made my stay. Next time I need a Dublin hotel, I'll stay here again. A big thanks to Prafull and all the team
Amazing experience from start to finish. As it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the Royal Suite at no extra charge. The suite was simply the best place we've ever stayed. Rainwater shower, huge comfortable 4 poster bed, and our own observatory complete with telescope so we could see all of Dublin. The meals were good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay at Clontarf and we will be back when we visit Ireland again!
The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. They explained to me how to get around and what best to see in Dublin during such a short stay. They even found a quiet room where I could check in early, which was incredibly helpful after such a long journey to Ireland. The room was very clean and comfortable. It's great that you can easily walk to the city center and Connelly Station is a 3 minute walk away.
Great location:
- not directly in the city centre but Dublin centre so easy to reach via bus or on foot
- close to many services (restaurants, pubs, supermarket, coffee shops...)
Nice staff, helpful when asked questions about the busses and the services in general.
Bar/restaurant directly below the hotel (not been there tough, I cannot review it)
Ideal for a weekend trip in the city.
Absolutely perfect location -- within a 5 minute walk to restaurants, post office, grocery store and just a short distance from the city center (w/ bus stop directly outside the door of the B&B) Mihaila (sp?) and son were very attentive; Mihaila spent time with me talking about how to get places and just general conversation about the area and Ireland in general.
This was a great stay in an expensive city. The location is convenient to the city centre and transport options. Breakfast was great, and I even got used to the loud music playing at breakfast time. You don’t get hotel staff or apartment facilities but once used to the way things run - it is a great spot. I will certainly stay here again when back in Dublin.
Great hotel super location. We booked last minute as we needed to stay in the Dublin we only live in Wicklow. On site parking is excellent and a rarity in the city centre. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and the beds are huge (super king), very comfortable. It’s a lovely quaint hotel in a fab location. I would recommend and certainly stay again.
Travelodge Plus, Dublin City Centre, newly opened in 2023, is well located, a few minutes stroll from the Liffey and a 10 minute walk east of Temple Bar. The hotel room was compact but had everything you need for a comfotable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bar/restaurant & outdoor area offered plenty of seating. Would recommend.
Albany House was so close to the center of the city and right next to a beautiful park. It was our first time in the city and we were able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. The staff was incredible and so friendly. They made our stay very warm and welcoming; and the breakfast was amazing! Will stay again next time in Ireland!
A classic hotel. I really enjoyed the aura of the vintage hotel. Very well maintained with a classic feel. The breakfast is simply outstanding overlooking an Irish garden. Best stay on my 8 day tour of Ireland. Stuff made numerous calls to get me into a restaurant on a Sunday night.
A very nice boutique hotel and in a very central location, staff were friendly and helpful. Dublin is an extremely overpriced city but the hotel was very stylish and comfortable and the weekend rate reflects the same general rate of other similar hotels in the city centre. .
Staycity Aparthotels Dublin City Centre was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were walking distance to Temple Bar area and other attractions in the city. Bonus was having a on site self serve laundry to do our washing.
A thoroughly charming hotel with everything you'd want -- helpful staff, spacious room for two, an on-site pub and restaurant. The beds were the most comfortable we'd slept in over a 12-day visit to Ireland. An unqualified success!
Nice hotel. Spacious room. Comfortable king size bed. Very good service. Very nice hotel staff. Buffet breakfast was good, although Ireland is not known for notable food. Many restaurants nearby within walking distance.
Loved the location, it was close to everything without any nightlife noise. It was quiet and comfortable and chic. It was one of the few hotels with AC in all of Ireland. Breakfast was adequate.
The location was fantastic and the hotel is charming. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. By far, our favourite hotel to date in Ireland.
