We had breakfast and dinner and it was excellent. We called ahead for dinner so they could have time to prepare the food. The place was in the mountains and surrounded by forest. It was nice to see the monkeys, hear the birds and the sound of a small waterfall. The staff were helpful, nice and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The phones in the rooms did not work but both rooms were near the reception area and it was convenient to just go to the reception area. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. One bathroom had a shower enclosure and the other a tub with a hand held shower.

The property is on a hill away from the city which makes it nice and quiet. My room was quite large with a balcony that had a great view. There was a safe and mini fridge in the room. You could ask them to bring a beer to your room. The bathroom was quite large too. The air conditioning worked well. There isn’t an elevator but the staff will help with your bags.

I reserved the place later in the afternoon for the overnight stay with my family. They contacted me several times to make sure my arrival time so that someone can be available at the hotel to receive me. When I reached the hotel around 2 in the morning, one of the staff members were there to greet me at the gate and take me direct to my room. They skipped the check-in process and deferred that to the next morning, knowing that our family had a hectic night. What a hospitality.
