The main house is located in a farm with an área of 5 ha, in the middle of a zone full of pine trees but, in fact, only can be considered as Local Housing (Alojamento Lo- cal - AL). With a location near 300 metres away from the road, it´s main living zone and sur- rounds are very quite and peaceful. Quinta A Reforma has free Wi-Fi service available (wireless internet), which can be used by our guests. You can use two available bikes free of charge to explore or get in touch with the surrounding área, or use our own private btt circuit with near 1km inside the pine- wood área. You can enjoy Quinta A Reforma outdoors space freely. You will find a nice reserved área with a grill for your barbecues with Family and friends. There is an outdoor salt water swimming pool (60-70 cubic metres), with average temperature of 25º, which you can use freely and play with your youngsters while enjoying the peaceful and relaxing surrounding environment. You can enjoy the garth and the grill. You can also strool in our pinewood, do a picnic and rest with your Family in a safe, country like scenario.
Being a Navy Retired Officer, I would like to share the comodities of Quinta A Reforma specially with Foreign Military Personnel on a situation like mine.
Abrantes is an old City that will give you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities. You have at your disposal several monuments, museums and the City Castle or you could stroll on the Riverside área. There are several alternatives to a great weekend program. For lovers of motor sports there´s a nearby kart track that can provide you moments of fun and pure adrenaline. Still in Rossio ao Sul do Tejo, you can stroll through old, narrow streets that lead up to the Rio Tejo. There you will be at Aquapolis, a very nice waterfront with outside gym equipment and playground. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the water mirror, created through a piece of Japanese engineering with cutting edge tecnhology- the inflatable dam. Still at the waterfront, but in the North side, you´ll have the opportunity to enjoy drin- king bars or restaurant while overlooking the river and sports beach as well as you can go biking along the river. It´ll be a great option. You can also practice recreatio- nal fishing. The Abrantes Castle is a must-visit place. From the top of the Keep you´ll have a privileged view over the City and as far as the horizon allows.
