The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see. The old ruins are amazing, but for us what was the bonus was the large maintained trees around the park, and water features give an all round old historic, beautiful park atmosphere. There are numerous places to rent bicycles, for very economical rates. We were able to bike around very easily, nice paved roads, and once you are off the main road, traffic is light, so it makes riding around very nice. like a good ride in the country!

First of all, this is a paradise for history lovers and archaeologists. The public security of this small city is very good. In fact, it is not hot for a period of time in the early morning every day, but it is very suitable to cover the quilt.

Its an ancient city and I would highly recommend people to visit it. Most people don't travel to small cities in Thailand but this city has so much ancient history, its a must to understand Thailand and its culture. The king from here started the Thai script and pushed for the language to thrive. Its a must if you visit Thailand.

The historical park is very pleasant to visit.
The historical park is very pleasant to visit. There were a few tour groups, but the area is so large we never felt crowded. Lots of trees and lakes, scenic and cool. We only spent one morning on our visit and we saw several sites; of course there were many we did not see. We did not hire a guide as we only had a short time. Doing so would add meaning to the experience. Definitely get a bike; we rented from KStop, right in front of the entrance; 30 bhat. The park also offers transportaton for those who need/want that service.
Great property to stay at to visit Sukhothai. the staff are helpful, they have scooters and bikes to rent on sight. They have a simple breakfast available to buy with instant coffee. the beds were decently comfortable with privacy curtains and outlets. I picked the room with ac which was nice but it does cool off overnight so the room with a fan would have probably been fine. it’s a bit of a walk to town but I was fine with that. easy to meet other travellers as well
Fantastic helpful owner, very kind and gives you ideas and information about how to get the most out of your trip. I arrived very early in the morning and he let me and my son into a room so that we weren’t waiting around.
Excellent breakfast each day with a lovely view from the top of the hotel.
Big spacious rooms that are cleaned daily.
Walkable to lots of shops/restaurants.
Historical park is very easy to get to from the hotel, about 15 min drive.
Owner was really friendly and helpful. Organized two bikes with children seats in the back for free. The guesthouse offers a balcony with nice wooden chairs and table which is ideal for breakfast. The kids liked it very much. The interior of the rooms is older but very traditional so it perfectly fits to the rest of old sukhothai. There are a lot of restaurants, a market and several supermarkets within a maximum of 2 minutes walking distance.
Stylish bungalows in a lovely garden setting. Clean, with strong wifi, spacious bathroom, fridge and aircon. Very nice and helpful host, also owner of the friendliest dog, Panda:) very quiet.
It's located a bit away from town, the distance is walkable, but it's a bit dark with some stray dogs on the way. Your best bet is a scooter or a tuk-tuk (grab wasn't available in Sukhothai).
We loved the location, because we wanted to visit the Sukhothai Historical Park. That is why this hotel was perfect for us. We also got the bikes at the hotel for free, which we then used to discover this beautiful site. The staff was very helpful and nice. They arranged transportation to the bus station for us and at the end we even received a gift. Would definitelly recommend!
Good explanation from the staff on arrival. The option to arrange transportation to the airport and rent a bike. Even breakfast was provided on the last morning when I had an early check out. Nice authentic bungalow with veranda. Location 10 minutes by bike from historic park. Good bikes. I definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Sukhothai.
Thai design hotel with lots of charm. The restaurant serves tasty food. The pool is large with nice views on the rice fields. we stayed in a room with views on the mountains which gives that extra. The staff was very helpful and they are happy to organise your next travel route. They organised a great driver to our next destination.
When staying in Thailand the location is the key. And with this place you get a great location indeed. Walking distance to central Sukhothai historical park and to the morning alms ceremony at Wat Traphang Thing. The lady running the place is the most smiling person we met in all of Thailand and can cook one hell of a breakfast.
Restaurant menu is good; the food tasty and reasonably priced - included buffet breakfast great; hotel grounds beautifully laid out. Pool big enough to do some lengths; rooms spacious and clean. Massive plus points to the staff who were friendly, from the management to the pool cleaners and very helpful.
Breakfast is so great. The property owner prepares the breakfast herself with variety of local dishes. It offers a feeling of visiting relative's home. The location is also so convenient to move around the old town and only 10 minute walk to the Historical Park of Sukhothai.
Fantastic location, very close to the Sukhothai parks and museum. The rooms are very nice and well designed, feels more like a hotel than a guesthouse. The owners don't speak much English but they were very nice and glad to help through google translate.
This is the best hotel for visiting the ancient city, Good bikes are available from the hotel and the hotel is within easy distance of the World heritage site.
Rooms are very comfortable, there is an excellent pool.
The food is standard.
rooms quiet and with interesting design. good location for the historic park & the amenities of the newer town. food in restaurant was amazing but breakfast was so so - cold eggs in the buffet. bed large & comfortable. owners very sweet
Beautiful tranquil setting yet near a busy street with restaurants and shops. Very nice pool. Good breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious room, best television we've had in Thailand. Inexpensive and tasty dinner options.
The hotel was in a great location - 5 minute walk from restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were so helpful and really made us feel at home, offering recommendations and able to help with onwards travel.
The hotel has beautiful grounds, spacious individual bungalows, a nice pool area, and a nice breakfast. It's like a little retreat in the outskirts of the historical park. Great location!
THB60 tuktuk to Ancient City entrance is convenient and reception happy to arrange. Hotel grounds are pleasant, breakfast ok but could add muesli. Good restaurant and cafe walking distance.
Perfect location, near the ruins of Sukhothai. It is extremely convenient to be able to take the bicycles of the hotel. The personal were just the nicest!
