Location. The room was beautiful and extremely clean, beds were comfortable. Staffs were friendly and quick to help. Within seconds of me saying my tv wasn't working someone came up to fix it. The breakfast was decent.

Great host, will provide anything you need and everyone is very courteous. Loved the stay and the location is perfect. There’s a bus stop down the street within 5min walk and the bus goes directly downtown new york. The place is very clean and peaceful. Highly recommended!

I was very disappointed. I booked the hotel because of the shuttle to and from the airport. The hours for the shuttle were limited. The front desk staff was rude. There was no coffee machine and wires outside of my window made a scraping noise all night.

We were offered the Hotel as a substitute to a facility in Manhattan. We have not seen much from North Bergen. Originally, we expected we would be much closer to New York where we planned our program.
BUT it is quite convenient that there is a large supermarket (Target) and several fast-food restaurant within walking distance.

North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night.
North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night. Living in NJ is the best way to visit New York while having a car. Parkings are tough and expensive in NYC downtown. While you can live here paying less and maybe having a free parking for your car. you'll have shuttles coming and going throughout the day which can take you to Times Square for around (3-7$). but if you're visiting just for NY and you want to enjoy every moment of your day, I'll recommend not renting a car and living in the downtown area while everything is within walking distance from you.

We stayed for roughly a week's stay here.
We stayed for roughly a week's stay here. It's a small town, but it has the basics: food stores, dollar stores, and several other businesses. I felt safe walking around in day, and night. We mainly went to New York using public transportation, but North Bergen was a quiet, quaint, small town.

we found multiple roaches in the room, to which we basically got a shrug when we went to the lobby to tell them. above the night stand was missing a light, and there was this faint clicking noise that was constant throughout the entire stay. in addition all of the vending machines were broken and there was only one small cooler full of lukewarm water. elevators smelled weird.

Many guests we spoke to were going on a cruse so used the hotel as a car park and overnight stay not a place for a vacation stay in our opinion, there is nothing to do in walking distance of hotel so would need a car to get around. The place looked too industrial and very run down in the surrounding area, not a place for a family holiday with kids! You will need to be very fit if walking anywhere from hotel as it is on top of a very steep hill. There are no proper resturants nearby to our hotel, there is a bus stop opposite to get to New York. Wont be staying there again because of location but the staff were fantastic at fairfield hotel and suites by Marriott.

If you want to go to NYC from North Bergen the best option is taking public transit, about $3.50-5.10 one way. Due to the bridge tolls an Uber will cost about $35-60 one way. Getting TO New York via bus was very easy HOWEVER, taking the bus from the Port Authority Bus Station was extremely confusing. You have to select a bus (even though you usually have multiple buses that can take you to the same stop) and you also have to pick zones but they can change depending on the bus and not the location of your bus stop.
Booked a stay here while attending New York Comic Con 2023 and the stay was quite pleasant. The hotel has secured off street parking which is very nice and the area was nice and quite and there was a lot of food places to eat around in the area not in walking distance but any food delivery service (grubhub. doordash, etc) can help mitigate that issue. There was also a shuttle that offered round trip rides to and from the hotel to the convention which was great.
The room was big and had a very useful space for clothing and a safe box, aside from the microwave, coffee machine and mini fridge. It was always clean.
Sometimes the bus would stop right next to the hotel to pick us up, but either way the New Jersey to Manhattan bus stop was very close, so was the Manhattan to New Jersey one. I recommend taking the paid in cash one (3.5 USD).there is also an Aldi and a Dollar Tree near to the hotel (and the bus stop)
Very comfortable beds and rooms. Very clean. The check in process was easy. We were upgraded to two better rooms upon arrival. The front desk person was very nice. we were given two rooms on the same floor as close as possible - which we appreciated.
The area was not the best for food choices - no fault of the hotel. I was not sure if the restaurant was operating.
The Hotel staff is rude, and non responsive. The house maid took my medicine box kept on and discarded in trash. I have to search 12 big trash bins personally at night upon my arrival in the room.
A compliant raised by e-mail not even acknowledged by the management.
The management was not interested in meeting customer even after my request to meet them.
Great location, clean, spacious, wonderful clerk at from desk, the breakfast was amazing.
All kinds of cereal, sausages sandwiches with eggs all different types of of bagels and coffee. That’s just a few of the things. Best breakfast in any of the hotels I have stayed in before.
Perfect distance from Newark on my way to Manhattan. I landed very late in the evening and needed a safe place to stay. The hotel feelt safe.
The big lobby with snack and drinks shop was a plus. i liked the breakfast area and the lady working there was nice.
Rooms are huge and spacious. location of the hotel is great even for those who want to travel to Manhattan by riding a Paterson-Manhattan shuttle for just 3.5 USD per person. It stops within a walking distance from the hotel every 10-15 minutes.
Very friendly staff but hotel was a bit rundown. Location was nice with a park and ride to Manhattan close by and the price was reasonable. Beds were clean but room a bit smelly and the bathroom was moldy
The check-in was a smooth process. The room was spotless and spacious enough. They also told us some recommendations like nearby restaurants from the property, and about transportation.
Hotel room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, free parking. Clean towels and cleaning of the room every day, free tea and coffee at the lobby all day long.
The Manager Veronica was very helpful and caring after Booking.com did not notify the hotel of my reservation modification. from Aug 1st thru Aug 3rd to Aug 3rd thru Aug 5th.
The bus shuttle to and from NYC (Port Authority Bus Station) stops directly in front of the hotel which is very convenient, and the drivers were very friendly.
