The beaches are stunning, people friendly and helpful, food amazing. We ate lobster salad, ribs and fish at lower bay. Taxis are plentiful and it is easy to get around. Must visit the Turtle sanctuary and The Liming a new modern hotel complex for a rum punch (as per picture) then relax on Princes Margaret or Lower Bay beach with more rum punch! The view surrounded by greenery is from the balcony of our room at the Sweet Retreat a highly recommended hotel a stones throw from the beach.

I was in Port Elizabeth 3 years ago and was immediately drawn to the people, laid back pace and beauty of Bequia. Unfortunately, it is now much busier than it was in the past due to an influx of day trippers from St Vincent and what appears to be a large increase in boats docked in the harbor. Still a beautiful place to visit just busier beaches than in the past.

We have yet to try a restaurant that we didnt like.

We have yet to try a restaurant that we didnt like. The food is great, drinks are strong, and the beaches are beautiful. We had lunch Frangipani. Dinner at Macs pizza. Everything is in one central location. From lower bay to the port is like a 30 minute walk. It can get tiring but the beaches take you mind off the trek.
