This was a great location for visiting Siena and the local region. Although on a bus route the buses aren’t very frequent so it is certainly easier with a car. Parking available at the property. Good restaurant next door - but sadly not at all good for vegetarians! The monastery on top of the hill is a must - we had a drink up there in the bar - but the food in the restaurant looked great too and was reasonably priced. A great base for visiting Tuscany.

The property and staff was amazing and they were able to recommend restaurants, arrange taxi service and especially the wine tour to the Mazzie Winery in Fonterutoli. Everything! What a place.
Everything! What a place. Our favourite experience was the guided walk through the Tuscan countryside! Keko our guide was fantastic combing historic elements to modern day life with a bit of nature and wildlife thrown in. It's a little further out of the centre of town which I prefered because it was quiet, and it waa 15 to 20-minute walk into town. It also included an excellent breakfast with your stay.
