Sivota is a beautiful and quiet village with many beautiful beaches. From Sivota you can go to Acherontas River for rafting and swimming in the river, Perama Cave to see the Stalactites & Stalagmites and to Parga. Also you can take a cruise to Paxos and Antipaxos.

It is a sweet little town.
It is a sweet little town. We enjoyed to walk early morning in port, to have a breakfast, and take the dinner at night. There are some perfect restaurants in port. There were lots of beaches around the town, and a port not to far to travel to Kerkyra by car.

We have visited Sivota several times.
We have visited Sivota several times. It's a great choice if you want a small, quiet and very beautiful place. In June and September it's not crowded like Rhodes and Crete. You might need a car if you want to go on sightseeing outside the town - e.g. the wonderful coastal town Parga, Corfu is only 1½ hour away, or you can find Archeon River further up in the valley. A car is also valid if you don't want to climb the steep roads up from the city centre. There are plenty of restaurants in the town and at the harbour front - no gourmet here, but still acceptable. Our favourite is Blue Coast and afterwards Bamboo Place for a couple of ouzos or cocktails.

WE are arriving to Sivota already for the 8-9th time and we love it. Now after 3 years (COVID) we traveled also / again with our Kids and the nice thing is, Some of the good places, are recognizing us, the kids (they being with us from their Babytime) Regardless that it has grown as all Sea Destinations, many new hotels open, and it has become fuller. People are nice, regardless the stress to serve, but Food and Quality makes us coming back next years. Even if we might buy a flat.

Campare with other 4-star hotels in the same area, this one was the worst (we hade 5-day pleasant stay at another hotel nearby before we moved in this one due to lack of availability). If other 4-star hotels available, I do not recommend this one. The first day AC in our room (4-person sea view with pre-payment) did not work, we waited more than 6 hours and no one could help us. Finally my family (4 person) were moved to a 2-person room around 22:00, spend a very crowded night. The breakfast was awful.

Filakas is nested on Syvota's best spot: the hill that overlooks village's lovely harbour. Rooms are modern, clean and cozy, bathrooms are very well-finished and perfectly equipped... and our rooms had a nice balcony with a beautiful sea view. Everything in the Hotel runs smoothly and nicely, from the parking lot to the breakfast... frankly I never had anything like that, in Greece, for 73.5 euros per night.

Balconies with a view of the sea, Zavia beach is a 3 minute walk. Nice gardens to chill out Syvota centre a 5 minute drive with shops, super markets, pharmacy etc. The beaches in the area are amazing.

The hotel is one of the best value for money accommodations i have ever stayed. It is exceptionally clean, room is spacious, beds are comfy, it has AC for the very hot Greek summer days, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. It is located approx. 10 min on feet from the heart of Sivota. I would highly recommend this hotel :)
