Our rooms were clean, the beds sufficiently comfortable, communication polite and thanks to deepL easy, breakfast was good, too. The location is excellent for reaching both the centro storico and Mazzaro beach/Isola Bella. We only stayed for one night and we would consider the hotel to be a good choice for a stay for 1 to 3 nights. We did not travel in the high season and were therefore lucky enough to be able to reserve 2 parking spaces in their inner yard, which was very convenient on our trip throughout Sicily.
Located 20 metres from the beach on Isola Bella Bay, Taormina Panoramic Hotel is linked to Taormina's historic centre by cable car. All rooms and the outdoor swimming pool have Mediterranean Sea...

Perhaps one of the nicest Hotels we have stayed in. The staff were all absolutely lovely.
The views from our bedroom, breakfast area and the swimming pool terrace were stunning.
Breakfast was 10/10 every day - tastiest food we've eaten in a hotel.
Location was 10/10 if you want to be beachside - if you want to be in the main town you will need to get the gondala up to the top which only takes 4 minutes.

We had an amazing view of Etna as well as the beach from our room and even from the terrace on the top floor. The hotel is up on a hill however only a 10 minute walk from the center. The staff was very helpful and easy to talk to. We would like to especially thank Cristina who helped to organize a taxi for us as well as scooter rental. Meanwhile our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Set on the east coast of Sicily, Garden Hotel is just 50 metres from the sandy beaches of Taormina. It features a lovely relaxing garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers.
The gardens, the staff, the breakfast, the location
Tucked into rocks and mountains, Splendid overlooks the Ionian Sea and the Calabrian coast, a short walk from Taormina’s picturesque town centre and 3-minute walk from Corso Umberto main street.
Very good location especially if you arrive by car

The Jewel in the Sicilian Crown
As you admire crystal-clear turquoise seas from a Taormina piazza swathed in vibrant pink blossom, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were in paradise. The stunning location of this picturesque town is its crowning glory.
However, it’s not its only glory. Surrounded by trees just below the main town, the Greek Theatre is also a triumph. Its largely intact seating offers wonderful views across the stage towards Mount Etna fuming away in the distance. Spine-tingling summer performances are still held here, and several of the town’s bars also offer live music.
Corso Umberto I runs through the heart of Taormina, from Piazza Corvaja to the 13th-century cathedral, and houses many shops and cafés. Midway along is Piazza IX Aprile, whose clock tower and church are overlooked by a rocky hill topped with a castle.
A cable car runs from the town down to the beautiful Taormina beaches (where the train station is also found). At the centre of the W-shaped bay is little Isola Bella, an island nature reserve. To the south-west is the long stretch of sand at Giardini-Naxos, and north is the bay by Mazzaró.
As you would expect of Sicily’s most beautiful resort, there is no shortage of Taormina accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star hotels on the beach, town centre apartments and luxury B&Bs.

Loved the location, lots to explore on foot with the Corso Umberto for shopping and eating, the Greek Theatre and the Botanical gardens for a quiet place to reflect and enjoy the views, and a play area for the children.
The cable car is worth using to access the beaches which again are well serviced with food, drink and toilet facilities.
Fabulous food, Mount Etna on your doorstep and great shopping.

We were unlucky with the weather so didn’t do as much as we would have liked . You’ve got to be aware the hotel is a long way away from centre so might not suit everyone. Good shuttle service though and good view from hotel. Taormina is very crowded

Taormina is a good base-point for tours of Mt Etna.
Taormina is a good base-point for tours of Mt Etna. There are probably more tours running from Catania, but you can get a good tour from Taormina. The city itself is touristy, but clean and well organized. I won't throw the word "safe" out there, as we felt safe everywhere in Sicily, but we felt very comfortable in Taormina. Of course the sights and history don't compare to the bigger places in Sicily such as Siracusa, Palermo, or Agrigento, but that's not Taormina.

The city/village of Taormina was great for sightseeing.
The city/village of Taormina was great for sightseeing. We visited the ancient amphitheater, and enjoyed hiking in the area. There were an abundance of good shops and restaurants to visit. The City public park was a wonderful mix of trees and walking paths with some amazing “follies” - odd and artistic small buildings, built to entertain the eye.
It’s in a fabulous location, on the beach overlooking Isola Bella. The steps up to Taormina start right outside the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent and although we didn’t have dinner at the hotel, there are plenty of very good restaurants nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
We were very unlucky with the weather during our stay… very little sun and plenty of rain. not sure how common that is in early May but the hotel helped us make the best of it.
Highly recommended.
Lovely small hotel a short walk from Taormina town centre. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view which is a must do as the view is fantastic. The room was clean, quiet, roomy and the hotel is conveniently located just a short walk to town. The staff were all friendly and helpful, with some excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Also easy to get to Etna from here if you have your own car, just an hour drive - be sure to book a car park space at the hotel in advance.
The Taormina Panoramic was one of the best hotels we have stayed in over the past 5 weeks in Italy. Amazing location! Breakfast was huge and delicious! Best breakfast so far for us in Italy! I’m not gluten free but they had so many GF choices. The hotel was clean and all staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The pool and bar staff were excellent. Special mention to Carmelo at the front desk who filled us with great information and was always available to answer any questions
Hotel Sirius's location is excellent, just a short walk away from the cable car and Corso Umberto. The valet parking service was very convenient. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and coffee, especially scrambled eggs. The view from our room was unmatched, absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's pool was very nice; we enjoyed spritzes with great poolside views. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return the next time I visit Taormina.
Super convenient location, good view from the balcony. The best staff I have ever met. It was raining when I visited Taormina. The weather could have disappointed me but Ernesto saved my days. He speaks good English and is very willing to talk to people. I knew more about Italy and Sicily after two days stay at the B&B and felt even doing nothing but only walking around the town centre and talking to people there are so enjoyable.
The hotel is at the excellent location, quite, everything you need for a cute trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, Taormina. Our room was at the last floor and we had a very nice balcony with the great view. The bed is super comfortable and the room was immaculate. The owners are very friendly and nice, they will be at your disposal for whatever you need. Really a very pleasant stay! Thank you!!
The hotel is located just a few minutes away from Corso Umberto, the heart of Taormina, where you will find dozens of shops and restaurants. It was very clean and although the room was not very big, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The rooftop is spectacular. It is an expensive hotel but it is totally worth it.
Stayed overnight before visiting Taormina. Secure private/free parking right across the hotel - check in first and then the receptionist will guide you to the parking lot. Good value. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean/basic room. Tasty pizzeria right next door. Train tracks right behind the building but did not interfere with good sleep. Overall, a good stay.
Unassuming on the outside the hotel is built into the side of the hill with stunning sea views. The rooftop restaurant was jaw dropping, the pool cool and uncrowded and the staff genuinely welcoming. We were sailing around Sicily so one night ashore was a touch of luxury with a fantastically comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and dinner in the evening was five star.
The location was great, staying in Taormina proper is too much trouble, but Hotel Villino Gallodoro was just a short distance from the lift to bring you up to Taormina so you could enjoy your hotel stay in relative peace, and go enjoy the busy Taormina when you wish.
Also, located near the beach, access to boat and swimming was great.
The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and the rooms were fantastic, and the location was perfect, there is no better place to stay in Taormina! Will definitely be back and highly recommend staying at this property. The hotel is much newer than some of the other luxury hotels and the space is so much nicer and cleaner.
The hotel staff were very welcoming! We had a great chat with Angelo and a lovely time at the Garden hotel in general! Great breakfast! There was a private access to a beach and it was super close to Isola Bella as well. Taormina centre is a short bus ride away or a 30min walk.
This hotel has old world charm! You feel like you are in Sicily! The location is on the beach. All rooms have sea view(amazing)!! Chairs & towels are included in price as is breakfast. This hotel & rooms are very clean( white sheets & white soft towels)
Marco who runs the property is so kind and Marco super helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in (even compared to 5 star hotels). Location was perfect right in the centre of town. Highly recommend!
Everything was great - from the people treating us like welcomed guests to the amenities. The steep path up to Taormina leads right from the hotel. The hotel is on a side street off the busy main road. Nice breakfast in a light and airy room.
Great hotel with a fantastic view over the ocean. The buffet breakfast was the best we had in Italy, so much variety with fresh, seasonal food! Highly recommend this stay in Taormina!
The staff are so friendly and accommodating— Mario and Francesco made us feel so welcome. A gorgeous and tasteful hotel. 5-min walk to Taormina city centre and from cable car down.
It’s been a magic night in Taormina. The Hotel was actually in the middle of the city center, super comfortable and strategically located. I really suggest that place ! Five stars
