I enjoyed staying at the hotel on the beach, unfortunately the town and area is undergoing roadworks, and once I was able to navigate round them to the hotel, it didn't effect my stay. There are plenty of places to eat and lots of lovely shops to browse around.Rebecca - 10Scored 10

This was not our first visit to Lacanau, we will certainly come again as we really like it. But probably not in the high season, Can be very crowded at weekends and parking is limited. We usually come in the spring or at the tail end of the season, There is a great variety of restaurants from seafood to pizza and which fit all budgets - all within walking distance of eachother. Great beach, surfing clubs. lively at night.

Great location, easy to eat out or self cater, far enough from the centre to not hear the night life as much. Town has plenty of shops and restaurants and night life if you looking for it. Great views of sunsets from the balcony. 1 minute walk and you're on the beach, very convenient location. Apartment prepared for self dining if wish to.AgnieszkaUnited Kingdom

The room had perfect temperature, lighting, comfortable bed, 2 complimentary water bottles - just lovely. I loved that they have a water fountain on the hallway, free of charge for all guests to refill their bottles with cold, fresh water. The spa is amazing - the jacuzzi, the hammam, the artic shower - top of the class!

And if you want to walk, you're less than 30min away from Lacanau-Ocean center and the sea. Colette, the owner, is friendly and have many great insights about the city. We will for sure come back :)
