I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is ideal, being very close to the airport, which made my arrival and departure extremely convenient. Despite its proximity to the airport, the area is incredibly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat away from the bustling and busy city.
One of the highlights of my stay was the access to nearly deserted beaches, just a short distance from the hotel. It was a perfect escape to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. Additionally, there are numerous small restaurants within walking distance, offering a variety of dining options.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a tranquil stay with easy access to both the airport and beautiful, quiet beaches.

I not only visited for work, but we were also celebrating my wife birthday and our 26 wedding anniversary. What stood out the most to me as a Bahamian who lives in Freeport was the hospitality we received from those who live among us. from the front desk staff to those in the restaurant who served breakfast and lunch, service was awesome. I want to give a special Gerrard Butler, I believe he is one of the managers. My wife told me how he was so gracious when we wanted to change our room. Thats the kind of manager you need on duty when situations arise. Overall our trip was awesome.
This Bahamian-style bed and breakfast in Nassau features an outdoor pool with waterfall and on-site dining. Lynden Pindling International Airport is 5 minutes’ drive away.

We enjoy the fresh seafood, Fishfry, Potters Cay. The local people are so friendly and helpful. Bus service cheap and convenient. The shopping is great downtown at Strawmarket. . Plenty of tourist attractions and things to do. Beaches, water beautiful. Snorkeling and swimming. History of the island fascinating.

It has great baches (eg Cabbage Beach) and great tours and activities (eg day tour to Exuma Cays, Swimming Pigs, Snorkeling, SandBars). The restaurants are good enough, but don't expect to much. Street food is very good, though!

Nassau is a very busy place. We only got around by Taxi. We were only there a few days but enjoyed our time there. It is very different from the out lying Islands. Friends spent some time exploring the History and Museums, we just didn't get there. Possibly a Stay out side of Nassau would be more relaxing but the Bahamian Hospitality is evident where ever you go in the Bahamas.

A cruise ship terminal where everyone is smiling but constantly trying to rip you off. At day full of the worst type of cruise ship passengers. Staff bubbly bubbly but entirely insincere. Tacky, horrid, poor levels of service. Taxis have no meters and will not quote in advance.
If you like casino hotel complexes - knock yourself out. You will be overcharge and under serviced. Visited both, both horrid experiences.
Saving graces
- Uko Sushi Bar
- Greycliffe Restaurant
- Day trip to Staniel Cay was stunning. Highly recommended.
Other than those there is NO reason to visit Nassau unless sent by work.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain.
Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain. I don't really like the hustle of the fish fry but I do enjoy the food! I have always found Bahamians very friendly. It is a nice place to visit. Some things can seem a little run down but you have to remember that the hurricanes beat up buildings and make it hard to maintain them.

We were able to go into downtown Nassau and enjoyed spending time exploring. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at a charming restaurant called the Manila Grill. We did use a taxi to go downtown and back to Paradise Island. You must have the Conch fritters with in the Bahamas. Everyone was very polite and it was a wonderful experience.
I was pleasantly surprised. I only needed a cheap hotel near the airport for one night. This place was much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and had a large kitchenette, a small patio with table and chairs, and the ac worked fine. They had a fun happy hour by the pool with free drinks. We chatted with the staff and other guests. Big free breakfast with cereal, waffles, bacon and eggs and coffee and several juices. I could have stayed longer.
Hands down the best place we have stayed. We were travelling for honeymoon and the hotel kindly upgraded us to an awesome suite with access to the private beach with hammocks and sunbeds. The suite was huge with full kitchen, living and dining room, walk-in wardrobe, jacuzzi and to bathrooms. Great Wi-Fi in the room and even around the whole resort, beach included. Really friendly staff and free sunbeds on the main beach. Great place and would highly recommend.
The property has lots of character - unlike the larger hotels in Nassau. It’s not a luxury hotel but it’s comfortable. The rooms are spacious. We had a room overlooking the garden but in fact because the hotel is on a hill we had far reaching views over the residential areas of Nassau which was lovely. We could see the airport in the distance but we couldn’t hear the planes. We would definitely book again.
The staff was wonderful and bent over backwards to help us all they could. We had terrible flight supposedly into Eleuthera but it got cancelled so we took a flight to Nassau and then the Fast Ferry into Spanish Wells the next day. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you wanted a location that was in the center of the city near everything.
Property is breathtaking. My only issue is, I wish it was all inclusive. I was willing to pay a lil higher rate for stay just have everything be all inclusive. I couldn’t keep up with everything being charged to my room. Other than that, beautiful resort, my family and I had a great time.
nice location and could look out onto the harbour.
good choice of food at breakfast.
all inclusive.
lots of things to do, had different activities, had table tennis, jenga, giant chess, volleyball. was a very sociable hotel with pool and beach games.
man made beach was nice
Good location, cheaper option to stay on Cable Beach with access to Baha Mar. Don't expect luxury, if you want luxury then pay 2x more and stay at Baha Mar. Food wasn't bad, each meal has some decent stuff, rest is not so good. Beach is nice.
Awful hotel. The pictures you see online do not represent the reality. The food quality is poor. It should be ‘all inclusive’ but the restaurants for dinner are always fully booked and it is difficult to get a place. The staff is not nice.
The location of the hotel is brilliant but like most big resorts it needs a lot of improvement. Mostly with the staff. Some are just plain rude and either shouldn’t be there or need retraining in the art of hospitality!
Very modern beautiful hotel, has everything you need. Great restaurants and shops. The room was fantastic, very comfy bed and gorgeous view. We had the best time; will definitely stay again when I return.
Beautiful historic hotel with superb restaurant and wonderful staff. If you want elegance, beautiful gardens, extraordinary french-ish cuisine, and the best possible staff then this is where to go.
nice hotel, good to be in Bahamar complex with other hotels. long sandy beach. breakfast was the best one compared to all top resorts we stayed so far.
