It was clean and staff were friendly.
Can’t really fault the hotel 10 min drive from the airport or ferry terminal.
Definitely need a car to get around as not much to do immediately in and around the hotel.
The restaurant is fantastic but not part of the hotel so you do need to book directly with the restaurant but that caused us no issues. Restaurant also doesn’t open on a Sunday and hotel doesn’t have much to provide in terms of alternative food, so have a plan.
The restaurant do provide breakfast which has a good variety of hot and cold options. Everything is freshly cooked and tastes nice.
The pool is clean and overlooks the sea, there’s also a well kept small but beautiful beach directly across the road from the hotel.
The bedrooms are spacious and come with a small fridge. The rooms were clean, they couldn’t facilitate extra pillows but we were there for a very short stay so didn’t mind too much.
Overall I would stay again.

Fabulous location and outlook. Retained the feel of a traditional Caribbean house but with modern touches. Staff were friendly, made good cocktails and helped us with local restaurant bookings.

This is a cosy little apartment. Everything you need is inside. To the city center it is a 30 minutes walk. The host was very supportive, and answered all of our questions (for example : how to order a taxi). Near the apartment there is no shops or restaurants, you need to make a 20/30 minute walk to get to something, but because of it it is quiet and cosy. Also: the apartment has great AC :)

The location is great and host really gentle and patience with me that I was late! He even took me to take the bus for the airport. I'm looking forward to come back for a longer stay.
Fort de France was a very nice place to visit in Martinique.
Fort de France was a very nice place to visit in Martinique. We stayed at a nice hotel the first 2 days we were there. Unfortunately, I reserved a hotel room at Maison Clementine where the owner overcharged me by 100 euros!!! Keep away from that place.

We went to St. Anne and to St. Pierre on tours and enjoyed both. The fish market was small, and the other markets were very much like other tourist markets. We walked during the day and it was easy to get around.

Like any other cities in the world, Fort de France is crowded with cars, people, shops, restaurants. It's relatively clean I must say. Perfect for solo or couple travellers. Not if you have kids to stay in this area.

Very good public transport system.
Very good public transport system. With the addition of the new TCSP service, getting to many places of interest is quick and easy. There is a big choice of restaurants within walking distance, making eating out very easy.

We had been working long and hard for the past year and needed a quiet, no-hassle, short and quick break. Martinique was easy for us to get to. It was off-season and that was fine with us as we really didn't want to do very much. The city is clean, quiet, friendly, pretty, green, cultured and not expensive. The tourist centre was helpful. We tried to find some local art and craft, hand made things but there didn't seem to even be an art gallery. The Saturday market was interesting. We could not charge up our phones because of the power difference and we couldn't find an adapter to buy. We walked everywhere. Street food in the Savanne was just fine.
Well Fabrice is a indeed a professional host. He offered me to pick me up at the ferry dock and bring me to the airport next day for a really reasonable price, but more important I didn't had to spend time to search for a taxi or a shuttle service. The room was clean and nice. Fabrice offered me also dinner for a small fee which was perfect (BBQ). The communication was excellent, minutes after I made the reservation, Fabrice called to welcome me.
The house is extremely clean and the room has everything (balcony, fridge, stove, tv w/ cable, etc) The house is conveniently located near supermarkets, boulangeries, ferries, the beach, restaurants, etc. The host is a sweetheart and there is no way that I'm going back to Martinique and not go back to her house. Merci beaucoup pour ton accueil M.
It was centrally located in Fort de France, close to markets, and public transportation. The neighbourhood was safe, the second floor apartment was secure and quiet. Was an adequate size for two people. It had good kitchen appliances, air conditioning and tv. There was plenty of hot water when needed. Hostess was very responsive.
Absolutely stunning location overlooking Fort de France. Up in the mountain with beautiful breezes and gorgeous flowers and plants. Incredible birds singing constantly. Slept like a baby and so comfortable. Beautiful home and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with the owner who is fluent in French and English.
The location is great and the front desk is so helpful with everything even helped arrange taxi to airport. Greatly appreciate it. The room is very spacious and clean but could hear things from outside. Would recommend providing ear plugs and hair dryer in rooms to add to experience.
Location! Walking distance from the Ferry pulling luggage, restaurants at your doorstep, bus service a few blocks away, 5 Euros for 2 persons to bus to airport where many car rental companies are available (book in advance for a rental car).
I liked that the host was friendly, I felt comfortable with approaching him if I encountered any issues which he proceeded to help me right away. I definitely intend on recommending this place for a short stay in Fort de France.
Perfect little gem! Phenomenal location in Fort-de-France! Excellent service and communication from the owner. We walked in exhausted from a long flight and were blown away by this place. We will recommend and stay again!
Fantastic views from the hotel and its rooms. Great breakfast. Charming and helpful host (than you :-). The place is unique in many respects - its location, interior, ambiance. To be highly recommended.
Nice view over Fort-de-France; excellent location; size of the room exceeded my expectations: elegant loby with colourfull cushions which gives a hint of distinctive caribbean flair
Room was big. Beds are big and are comfortable. Hotel and restaurant staff was nice. Many hotel car parks. Location was good too, very close to the old town.
Honesty speaking I loved everything about the hotel. Customer service was ok. The room was super clean and comfortable. I'll definitely come back again
