Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
The locals are nice and friendly. I would suggest not to take big car to jodhpur as the streets are too narrow in the old city area (where most of the tourist spots are). If possible rent a two-wheeler there and cover all the spots otherwise you can also get autos.
You can visit Osian district where you can enjoy desert safari and cultural programs (food, dance, singing). There is a famous sachchai mata temple there. Its a must visit (very clean and quite with a beautiful view of the city).
Food:
Must tries-Vijay Restaurant (ask for their specials and they will recommend you the best, do ask for lassan ki chatni), Mishrilal lassi wala (try their Malayi lassi-just amazing). Rajasthani thali
Local finds: Pyaaz ki kachori, mewa kachori (if you are sweet tooth), mirchi bada, daal bada and kabuli.

We loved the city.
We loved the city. It was much cleaner than other indian cities. And it is walkable! You can see the pride of the people here to live here. Also lots of places for shopping and most cafe's have rooftop terraces. Always great view while eating.
Staff courtesy, facilities and ofcourse the vibe of being there. Hotel owner Danish was very helpful ,he also took us around the jodhpur city tour early morning which was a very kind gesture of him. Arjun was also very supportive. They generously allowed us late check-out without any extra charge . Made us feel welcome and comfortable. Roof top restaurant is a go to place here and enjoy their woodfire pizza . Rooms are big and spacious. The staff makes special efforts to make your your stay delightful. Happy and Delighted Customer 😊
Wow, super impressed with this guesthouse. It's blue and so unique and makes for great photos. It's clean and well maintained for such an old building. But the best part is definitelly the staff. Vikram the owner is just superb and so attentive and thoughtfull, you get 5 star hotel VIP service. Also Bhavan the waiter was really amazing and helpful, and thanks to both of them we eat in their restaurant every day, that's how much we enjoy it. If you don't stay here when in Udaipur, you will regret it. 100% recommend.
beautiful property, quiet, peaceful. on site restaurant was excellent, with live instrumental music every night. it honestly took the stress of figuring out where to eat that’s how good the restaurant is. the staff are 10/10. this place was like staying at a 5 star hotel with the level of service provided. the breakfast is also very good. extremely good value. Balveer the manager also arranged a driver to Jaipur and it was the cleanest taxi we’ve been in the whole trip! I highly recommend.
The hotel is an old haveli really beautiful. The best of all is the attention of the man who runs the hotel, very attentive to us from the first moment to the end. He even walked us through the streets of Jodhpur from the hotel to help us find a famous viewpoint. The spacious room has a hall at the entrance where there is also the bathroom. Everything clean, very quiet. They make a good breakfast for you at the time you tell them.
If you want to experience the real Jodhpur feels, this is the place for you. This place is situated in the heart of the old city which lets you experience the old city, culture and day to day life of the people. This place makes sure that you live luxuriously just like a hotel but at the same time the family who looks after this place will make you feel warm and at home. Its a full package, the best of both worlds.
This is one of the best place to stay in Jodhpur. The road to the hotel might not be good but once you get there...you understand that you found a gem.

staying in the hotel itself is a treat - it has all the heritage, history and old Rajasthan style of living one could possibly dream of. hotel is very clean, facilities very well maintained and staff are very helpful and friendly. this is definitely the best hotel we have stayed throughout our trip in India.
Nice and cozy hotel in Ratanada near Bhati circle. Room and bathroom was clean, I think it's the best budget hotel with every basic facilities available. Good for couples and families.
I lost something in the hotel and was duly called by the hotel within 2-3 hours to inform me.
