Amazing facilities, new, modern, clean, nestled amongst the trees.
Breakfast and dinners top notch and the lovely host is just the best; kind, helpful, great cook obviously.
She was still recovering from an injury and was still running around making sure everyone was happy 💚 - one of our best stays.

Nothing to see except nearby shrine on tophills with stunning view of the town. Proximity to few Karen tribe villages.
Besides that the town itself has nothing to offer. No life on streets and most of business closed after 8 pm.

I did the famous Mae Hong Son loop on scooter for 3 nights/4 days and it was perfect. People tend to stay in Pai for a few days to make it a little longer, but since I didn't like Pai, one night stay was perfect for me.

We had three days in MHS the ( Dec31-Jan 3) New years eve down by the lake in the town was great. So much going on and people everywhere. Good food stalls and market every night and i recommend eating at the Good View resteraunt by the lake. For anyone who's trip in MHS is due to riding the Mae Hong Son Loop , this is the town to get your souvenier t-shirts, stickers etc. All in all Mae Hong Son is a great place to visit for a few days .I also recommend taking the side roads off the main Loop road.

Such a laid back, friendly place.
Such a laid back, friendly place. If you are near the small lake you are near what you need. Killer night market. This is maybe my 10th night market in Thailand and maybe my favourite. Good food and cheap. Beautiful setting at night along the lake. The viewpoint on the mountain is fantastic. Walk up the stairs and earn the view. Behind the Wat is a cement road going up and this is where you can look out to Burma. Rent bikes and make your way out of town, cross the Pai River and explore the roads. Great easy cycling. Biggest obstacle is the heat. We are both in our early 60’s and had no issues. Come for 3 days and stay for 9 like us if you can. The best Chicken Khao Soi can be had at Khaw Soi Panoon. Also check out the morning Market 😍
Cute little cottage in semi-rural area in the outskirts of town.
Very well equipped. Airco, shower and fridge work well.
We loved sitting on our little porch with a cold drink overlooking the green area and with the neighborhood dogs playing around.
You will need your own transport to go to the center of town. It's about 10 minutes on the motorcycle.
Mae Hong Son has a lovely night market and some very nice places to eat and drink around it.
We enjoyed our stay very much!
One of the best hostel I ever stayed in.
The host super nice, well knowledgeable about the area, speaks decent english.
The place itself is clean and comfortable. Easy to socialize with other people. To get your work done. Wifi is also great.
The room is clean and comfortable. The mattress is hard but it is standard in thailand.
Location is the best, 4min walk to night market, 1 min walk to 7/11, atm and some restaurants around.
Good value for money
Will stay again
The owners were lovely. We needed help to book a day trip and they were happy to use their own phone to make the booking on our behalf. They provide a modest breakfast which was handy. Just toast and some fruit and a cuppa which was enough to get our day going. The location was perfect. Very close to everything! We would definitely stay again if we were to return to Mae Hong Son.
We loved the setting in the national park - the hotel itself was very pretty with a gorgeous infinity pool and we were able to walk from the door into the park (with one of the resident dogs as a guide). The hotel provided a free shuttle to/from town for travel or dinner/exploring. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
A brilliant small hotel set just outside the centre but an easy walk into town. Jasmin was a very helpful and welcoming host and spoke good English. We were lucky enough to have the whole upstairs verandah to ourselves, which included a small kitchen, two large tables and even rocking chairs! The rooms were large and the bed moderately comfortable.
All is perfect, not far from center city. In a small village, near the temple, quiet place, in a garden. The young couple who own the land and the bungalows are adorable and helpful. the location is intended for motorized travelers, as it is located 3 km from the city center. This will now be my base in Mae Hong Son.
This hotel is incredible. You basically live in a luxurious hut in the middle of a "jungle" and rice fields. The pool facing the rice fields is the best thing ever. The sunset there is just from another world. The staff is also very nice and they even have great breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
This is one of the most beautiful spots I have ever stayed at. Even after more than 10 years in Thailand, i can say this place is special.
Fantastic nature views, unique nightsky, great location, close to Pang Oung and Baan Rak Thai while quite and away from the road.
Simplicity in all its wonder.
Stayed here for a quick visit to Mae Hong Son. Good parking as we were doing the Loop in our own vehicle. Had two rooms, one for us one for the kids. Worked out well enough. Good location close to the lake and also for a quick hike up to hill to the top where the temple is.
The food was amazing, the host was incredible! Daa is so lovely and always wants to help make the stay an incredible experience.
The location is close to Nam Lod cave which was a very good stop on the Mae Hong son Loop.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Great hotel in Mae Hong Son. Easy to find, right on the main road, but just far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxed (but still easy to get into down). Beautiful reception, friendly staff, lovely rooms with all the necessary amenities.
Camp hidden in the forest in funky cool huts with full amenities - it was such a great experience. Located in serene surroundings while walkable to the center of Mae Hong Son City. A definite gem if you are visiting MHS!
The hostel is situated in the middle of Mae Hong Son with lots of supermarkets in walking distance. The owner is nice and the whole process was very easy. There is a common area on the first floor to relax, eat or work.
Nice and clean guesthouse. Perfect for the stop during Mea Hong Son loop. Free parking and bar in the geusthouse - so you can both eat and enjoy cold beer. Very nice and helpful host - Porn.
Amazing place, nice well-maintained garden even in the low season. Quiet, clean. Probably one of the nicest accommodation we stayed while doing the Mae Hong Son Loop
Amazing relaxing stop over whilst completing Mae Hong Son Loop. Beautiful spot and an amazing host. Wished we could've stayed longer. Lovely breakfast and comfy bed.
The rooms were simple but had everything necessary, but the experience cooking and learning about the culture around Mae Hong Song from Porn was amazing.
