Great place with an even greater view. It was the best place we stayed in in koh samui. Book the villa with an ocean view, you won't regret it. Highly recommended

The size of the rooms is huge. We had for 2 people 2 toilets, 3 showers (including the one next to the pool), a huge nice double bed and huge glas windows. Of course we had a terrace with direct entrance to the 1.2m deep pool. It was awesome and we feelt very priviledged and in a real luxury home. We enjoyed our two nights, the staff was super friendly, next to the hotel is everything you need, also a fruit market. The only con was the one window downstairs wasn't built properly so when it was raining it was a bit wet on parts of the floor. Also the toilet upstairs was smelling weird when we arrived.
Nevertheless it was a great time and we enjoyed our stay.

Very close to the airport, 10 min by car, perfect for the first few days on the island or the last few prior to departure.
Next time i will stay the first 5 days here to get off the jetlag, and the last 2 day before heading out.
the ferry to koh phangan is, depending on the hotel, in walking distance.

More than a couple of nights here is enough as there is very little to do at nights. If you get a motorbike though it becomes one of the best places to stay as everywhere else is within an easy journey.
The hotel restaurants are generally better than the established burger/pizza/steak places. Not saying they're bad but there there are better available. There seem to be fewer local Thai eateries around than used to be the case however the ones that are there are pretty good. Discovered a lovely little cafe/restaurant that I thought at first was purely Vegan but caters for all tastes and the food is all healthy and stuff...not a bad thing after a night on the beverage of choice.
The other thing you should be aware of is that now cannabis has been legalised there are shops and "cafes" everywhere...even a very nice "up market" restaurant that has a full a la carte menu of cannabis infused food in addition to the standard menu items...interesting concept.
To sum up I do the bookends thing, couple of days at the start and end of the Samui trip as the airport is just around the corner...works for me

Bangrak Beach is certainly not the nicest area on Koh Samui but it's conveniently close to the airport and the Bangrak Beach Pier to take the ferry over to Koh Phangang. Therefore a good place to spend a night if your flight arrives/departs too late/early for the ferry to Koh Phangang.

Bangrak is a nice place.
Bangrak is a nice place. The beach is not the best around but you can walk on it. The Bangrak road us busy with traffic and people drive too fast on the approach to it. It’s quite dangerous road and you have to be careful when crossing. Thus also makes it not very peaceful or relaxing.

The best thing that comes in mind is that the location is close, by car, to some important sightseeing, such as Golden Buddha, the Grandmother and Grandfather Beach, the Fisherman Village (2 km, the latter), the Waterfall 2 park, as well as to some of the greatest restaurants on the island: Coco Tam (best beach setting and great food), Jungle Club (the best setting, and amazing view with high quality in food), Suppatra Dining (probably the best dining on the island) and Dr. Frogs (great view, but the food did not met our expectations). The Central Festival Shopping Mall is also close, as well as the airport of Samui, that looks like a cartoon (my favorite airport in the world now).
You can drive easily by luxurious van limo at very decent prices. We had the services of Mr. Tee recommended by the staff of our hotel, the Scent Hotel. He was decent, professional and very polite and he uses WhatsApp.
There are beaches that appeared to us very intimate, like the one from Scent Hotel, or simply gorgeous beaches like the ones between Lamai and Chaweng.
Great hotel! Nicest people I met in Thailand. The staff is really amazing.
Very clean room, the pools are amazing and although you need to pass a road in order to get to the beach, the staff always helps with a smile. Very comfotrbla, nice breakfast, and in my opinion it's the best location in case you take a motorbike. All is close, but you have a perfect silence. Highly recommended. Will be back for sure. Thanks Prana!
This is a great "airport hotel" just a 3 minute raxi drive from the Koh Samui airport. We had an early flight and stayed at this Hometel. The people were wonderful, a family business and everyone was so nice. There is a little "street food" stand in front of the place and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand!!! There is not much to do in the area so I would moslty recommend as Airport Hotel.
The friendly family that own the hotel were incredibly welcoming. The room had a sea view and was private.
The bed comfy and the air con effective.
The free use of the kayak allowed an amazing morning out on the calm waters of the bay.
The beach towels in the beach bag was a well received touch.
I did feel a touch jealous of the beach side room #106
We stayed there only for one night... But would definitely go back next time in Ko Samui.
The hotel stuff was extremely helpful and welcoming.
The hotel is quite and the beds are comfortable - it was the best sleep I had in months (we almost missed our taxi in the morning) ;)
The balcony right on the beach is exceptional!!
This was a gem of a hotel . Perfectly located , fabulous staff, clean, breakfast was of good standard & a lovely choice Eggs cooked fresh to your liking .
The beach was on your door step . Lovely choice of restaurants just outside yor door. Chi beach bar was just amazing- worth checking it out
Highly recommended
New hotel with nice rooms and very comfortable beds. Fun pool, great for photos and lounging. Happy Hour from 3pm to 8pm with 2 for 1 drinks. Complimentary kayaks for guest use. Breakfast is served at a restaurant across the street. Walking distance to the ferry that goes to Koh Phangan
The pool and the access to the beach were wonderful. The Café (lighthouse cafe) had amazing food! The Staff was very friendly.
The price-quality ratio of the hotel itself was in general very fair. If you’re looking for something close to the airport this might be a good option.
Very charming boutique hotel, as soon as I arrived the staff made me feel very welcome. The whole place is built as real authentic Thai style and it was such a pleasure to really I was in Thailand, discovering this little gem in samui.
I particularly liked the friendly operators of the hotel. Everything was very uncomplicated and also very clean. Great location for the airport (with shuttle, but you can also walk well), but also for all other activities on Samui
The pool and the gardens were amazing, staff very helpful and close to the ferry to koh phangan.
The only thing that wasn’t nice - a bar outside the hotel had blasting music until 02.00am… that was really bad, otherwise all good.
The hotel was so nice, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. The pool is beautiful, and the beach is right there. The location was fantastic. we would stay here again for sure.
The infinity pool and the view from the room was excellent. The beach was nice and very quiet. The location of the hotel is perfect and easy to find local food.
