Hotel Eden is beautiful; contemporary, clean, well laid out, wonderful chilled vibes. On sea front but beaches are shingle and hardcore. Great breakfast for all nationalities' tastes. Two pools; one outside and a small indoor pool and sauna area. Staff could not be more polite and helpful. The restaurant food in the evening was A1 and relaxing setting to watch sun go down. We had a fabulous holiday there. Great if you do not want to be in city centre, with higher room rates.. Split was beautiful and interesting; great city to explore, as was Marjan Hill area just out of town; the local nature park. We went most days!

They recently renovated their hotel and their rooms are now completely modern. I had a pleasent relaxing stay and really enjoyed their wellness space. Room and balcony 10 metres away from the waterfront, sleep with the sound of lapping waves. Amazing views from the balcony, including views over Split. Staff made us feel at home. Pool and water access. Sea was a bit cold (19C, in May) but quite swimmable. Easy, cheap 30 minute bus ride to central Split. Really nice dinner options (menu a bit limited, but good basic food).

Hotel Sunce is directly on the beach, in the town of Podstrana and 8 km from Split. Facilities include a beach bar, a sun terrace and an indoor pool with glass walls.

This hotel is fantastic! Right next to a bus stop for bus 60 into Split, which costs EUR2.50 and takes roughly 25 mins. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is amazing, the staff are wonderful and friendly. Lovely pool, quiet surroundings, right next to a beautiful beach and a good bar/restaurant. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in - even better than my own at home! Rooms was spacious and cool. Would stay there again, but for longer. Best hotel on our 12 day road trip. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We managed to change rooms after begging the receptionist as the first room smelled badly of cigarette smoke. Second evening diggers were moving until at least 11pm. Really noisy. That said it was a long way from the city and expensive to commute, but did have a nice restaurant that looked out at the beach from the rear of the hotel.
