The apartment is perfect. The process is super-slick and the location superb....I could not recommend it more. I will recommend my son stay here next year and any friend that visits the region will get my guidance direct to this apartment.

Lovely little apartment, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with everything needed. Very accommodating host, short walk to town.

Both the Roman town and Renaissance town offer lots of interesting places to visit - very attractive town situated in an area with many attractions. Well worth visiting, even out of season.
The old town is easy to walk around with many bars and restaurants. Our second visit and we will return.

Wonderful old town in the centre but like most French cities, it has the the normal ‘doughnut’ of decay and random rankiness surrounding that beautiful heart. If staying, book right in its heart! Parking’s easy, cheap and its multiple beautiful small squares add a unique charm. Lots of restaurants, a surprisingly vibrant night life and it’s Wednesday summer night food market, a joy. Christmas markets are also excellent especially if you like foie gras! 😋

The best thing about Perigueux was the proximity to Lascaux and some Chateaux. The town itself is not very appealing, although a few streets in the old section were OK.
Getting around was OK, just be sure your GPS works!

Much better than expected. The old town was wonderful.
Much better than expected. The old town was wonderful. The Cathedral was exceptional & we thoroughly enjoyed the Roman Museum. Plenty of quality restaurants in very easy walking distance of the hotel.

It seemed to have a surprise around every corner.
It seemed to have a surprise around every corner. The old town isn’t large but you can walk around it for days and still be fascinated. The cafes and restaurants are excellent (make reservations). Best are the shopkeepers who are helpful and a great source for local information. Don’t miss.

Périgueux has a characteristic old center, with its small streets and well preserved buildings. The atmosphere is nice, with a broad choice of restaurants and bars, of course with all local delicacies, making use of the squares, corners and trees. We had very affordable good meals at Chez Manija (Indian, full vegan accommodated) and at l'Esplanade (the salads and river fish were very nice).
Outside this center Périgueux is not a very beautiful or special place, but everything can be found: musea, theatre, a lot of shops, water paradise, nice walks in the landscape around. In a circle of about 70 km around, the area offers a lot of castles, gardens, grottes, musea, activity parcs and nice landscapes, but for all this one needs a car. The public transport outside town is not good or even absent, and biking is too difficult because of the height differences and lack of biking lanes. The public buses in town are good and for a day ticket of 1,30 Euro (2022) one can go everywhere (Office Peribus at Rue du Président Wilson).
Ideal for visiting someone in hospital - being 100m across the road frkm Cljnique Francheville. Equally close to the 24/24 underground car park, to 3 restaurants and to the 10-screen cinema. Plus its only a short walk to Perigueux town centre.
The bed is comfortable with decent clean linen, and the water is hot. The double glazing keeps it very quiet. The microwave allows for reheating etc and the kettle and toaster much appreciated. It feels safe and access via a keybox is ideal for late arrivals.
Thé apartment is so spacious , modern and beautifully decorated. Of course immaculately clean, the bathroom and kitchen great, with all facilities , the beds very comfortable . The location is perfect, a wonderful bakery a 5 minute walk, and quiet. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the historical medieval center of the the town, which has dozens of fine restaurants . The hosts are very friendly, helpful, kind and charming people. This is a terrific place to stay in Perigueux .
For my purposes the location was ideal for walking to the sporting event I attended. Also the train station was located just across the street from the hotel. The free breakfast was ok not great. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Outside temp while I was there exceeded 40 degrees but the air con seemed to keep the room pleasant enough.
The property was very large and so comfortable! I loved the location, it had a coffee maker, lots of cooking supplies, a dishwasher, a washing machine (I didn’t use the washing machine, but it was nice to have just in case). The host was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to Périgueux!
We loved the apartment’s central location in the historic part of Périgueux, the old stone building which the apartment is in, the apartment’s great internal decor and modern facilities, and the excellent communications and warm welcome from manger Pierre-Louis.
Many thanks.
The location was very convenient and nice. Able to reach most of the places on foot. People we met at Périgueux are the nicest I have ever experienced in Europe during my 25+ years of travel. We bought the home made & delicious walnut cake in a small local store.
The only good thing about the place is the location, which is in the centre of Perigueux, just in front of the main Cathedral. Also have to say that the toilet was acceptable clean (as oposite to the whole room).
The location was perfect, as was the free nearby parking. The apartment was a cozy and comfortable living area, and other than not having the mentioned closet or drying rack, it had everything that we wanted.
Absolutely stunning location on the main, very narrow, cobble stone, street in the Old Town in Périgueux. Literally 5 footsteps from an excellent Bakery below… Very tastefully decorated + roomy apartment!
The hotel was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Safe, easy, and inexpensive city parking lot right across the street.
Location excellent for a short stay, right in the centre of everything. Perfect for visiting Perigueux. Lively during the day and evening but peaceful at night.
A great budget hotel. All as you would expect. Clean and tidy. Close your the old town and the restaurants and bars. Parking for the motorbike right outside.
