Warm vibes - stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Breakfast in the AM was a great way to start the day. Staff was friendly, provided guidance for activities when we inquired. Another thing we loved was the heritage and charm everywhere on the grounds and within the building. Certainly would stay again - this time for longer - we only stayed 2 nights.

Our experience at this family-run hotel and restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The harmonious combination of culinary excellence, heartfelt hospitality, and charming accommodations made it a standout destination. The hotel is in a wonderful location, very close to so many wonderful places and activities. If you are in search of genuine hospitality, this establishment is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning to savor the delightful fusion of flavors and warmth on my next journey. They even treated our dog like she was family.

I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.

We went for skiing but as with many places this year, the snow wasn't great. We had fun skiing on the available trails. No lift lines. We spent our evenings at the Alpentherme (heated pools and saunas), discount card came with our room. The evening views of the lighted castles, from the heated, outside pool, were amazing! We had only two days so no exploring of the town this time.

It feels more like a local town than the touristy towns like Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We found an excellent bakery, there are good grocery stores, and it’s a nice, quiet little town without the gaudy, touristy type restaurants and loud souvenir shops of some of the other border villages. The best part of it is the access to hiking and nature walks.

Reutte is a charming town in a beautiful mountain setting.
Reutte is a charming town in a beautiful mountain setting. It is close to many attractions in Austria as well as southern Germany. There are stunning palaces, ancient castle ruins, a breathtaking suspension foot bridge, trams to ski resorts and mountain tops, cycling paths, lakes, rivers and forests and much more. Great for any season. Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstien castles are a drive of thirty minutes or less, Linderhof Palace and the tram to the top of Zugspitz are nearby, too. Reutte has year-round attractions.

Reutte was a beautiful location.
Reutte was a beautiful location. Nestled in the valley with green mountains all around. We were there in September. It would be just as beautiful in the winter when all the ski slopes are open and snow has fallen. we enjoyed our stay very much.
The stay in the ferienwohnung of the Gasser family was very nice. A spacious comfortable apartment. Very cosily furnished. It felt like home. We could even have a gourmet / raclette evening because it was present in the house.
The Ferienwohnung of the Gasser family is an ideal place when you are on your way to Italy. And Reutte is a surprisingly nice place where there is plenty to do in the area. The Highline179 was really great to visit.
Thanks for all the good service.
Haus Gebhard is ideally located in a small town right next to the mountains. Minutes from a ski lift and Reutte. The apartment was clean, well equipped and came with Mountain View balconies. We especially liked the play room with table tennis and an outdoor grill area. Hosts were extremely accommodating. They provided toys and games for our children. We will definitely stay here again.
We used this hotel as a pitstop, it would be suitable also for a few days exploring. The staff were really excellent, both friendly and professional. We had a very lovely room on the top floor with amazing views of the mountains. Room was a decent size with large bathroom ensuite. Restaurant was first class. Free car parking which is always a bonus.
Situated with a great view of the town of Reutte and Alps, this spot is perfect for a relaxing retreat. The large windows, glass doors and porch welcome the sun and views well. The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom. Everything was clean. The owners were very kind and helpful.
The entire concept was extremely well-thought-out and the stay was great. The room was clean, modern, big and had everything you need (slippers, bathrobe, coffee maker, ...). The Hotel had a great spa and also a big "playroom" with a pool table, table tennis, darts and lots of games.
Reutte is a nice old town. The appartement is in a small appartmenthouse. Nice family as owners were helpful. Good location, clean and like new. Near are lakes to swim, higline179, castle Ehrenberg. Many restaurants and shops just a little walk away.
Excelent room, very clean. Very friendly hosts. Extraordinary view from the window!!! Although officially the hotel does not provide breakfast, they provide muesli, coffee, tea, milk, so actually a full breakfast.
I definately recomend the hotel!
Village location, usually quiet. 20min of driving to castles in Bavaria, shops available in Reutte.
Freshly renovated clean apartment, a lot of kitchen stuff.
There was everything we needed inside.
Nice terrace. Fresh air. Alps.
This hotel is so beautifully situated in the valley of a stunning castle set-up. We hiked up to the large fortress and took the fun mountain-side elevator down. The breakfast spread was perfect and the meals were wonderful.
Very nice apartment the owner told us he built the place all by his own. The apartment is, close to hahnenkam and berwang ski area's. Supermarket shops are in reutte couple minutes drive.
Wonderful restaurant manager that took very good care of us. Excellent food and local Austrian wines. Very accommodating as we were a group of 8. We would come back anytime.
One of the best places I've been to.
Everything is just gorgeous. Location, owners of the hotel, cleanliness of the rooms, breakfast... Everything is simple 12 out of 10
