Facilities are amazing, so clean and beautiful, felt at home and relaxed. View from our room was incredible over the river and so accessible for city centre. Will be back!

Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. Great shopping centre too - Dunne’s is a great shop !

There is a lot of history to learn of particular interest to the British from the first settlement to the present day. To appreciate the city it is necessary to walk everywhere- over the peace bridge, along the road with the murals in Bogside, around the Guildhall, walk the city walls and visit museums etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically). We had just an overnight & until the following early afternoon. Will definitely be returning! We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.

We hadn’t been in Derry before and he was very good to recommended things for us to do during our brief stay. The rooms were just so so beautiful and I loved the theme of Irish literature. Would highly recommend spending an evening in the Oscar Wilde room. Unbelievably luxurious hotel for such a reasonable price. You’d be silly not to book here when staying in Derry! Just at the Peace Bridge, and the city walls are just a block or so away. Steven at the front desk and the other lady were really great staff. Carpets and some of the chairs have a couple of small stains here and there, but it seems like it gets a lot of traffic. Restaurant downstairs has mostly bar food, but the fish and chips and the pizza were actually really tasty. Breakfast was a full buffet. Parking was relatively easy and just a block or so away.
