Breakfast was good, location is fine. What stands out at this hotel is its owners George and Vangelis , very humble and polite and hospitable going the extra mile to please every single guests needs, also very informative as well, but the cleanliness - so far the cleanest place we've ever stayed at, wish i could extend my stay, and definitely will recommend it and visit again

I think Prinos is the right point to stay..
I think Prinos is the right point to stay.. The island is like a ring, with 100 kms. long road will complete the ring, and you can see all the parts of the island.. 15 kms. to Limenas, where the ferry boats are located. The East and south cost is attractive.. Simi and Mythos restaurants at Limenas are on the top of the list, Syrtaki restaurant in Prinos advisable..AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0
Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place...
Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Amazing sunsets. Clean sea. Multiple beaches, some free some private. Hotel has got amazing private beach with amazing service to your tanning bed. There are restaurants close to the nearby port (about 1 Km), good local food.

Family hotel PROTEAS offer excellent Ratio of price and quality. First impression has been nice clean room with balcony toward pine wood. Room is equiped with net against Mosquitos so good sleep is ensured. Every day we enjoy breakfast seating in the yard in full shadows. Position of the hotel is such that you can reach sea in three different direction. West /150 m from sea. North/ 400m from sea/ and to the east /1km from sea. The friendly hotel owner allowed us to celebrate us birthday.

This house is NOT in Prinos. Actually, there are 4 Prinos's! The ferry docks at Skala Prinos. From there it's 2 km to Prinos village - OK, but nothing special. It's another 5 km uphill to Mikros Prinos and Megalos Prinos, where House Rhodia is located. Megalos Prinos is also called Kazaviti and Megalo Kazaviti. It is a traditional village of stone houses, now largely owned or rented by non-Greeks. However, the surroundings are fantastic, and Thasos Island as a whole is a wonderful place to relax. There are beaches everywhere, good food is easy to find, and various kinds of water sports are available.MichelUnited States of America - 8.0Scored 8.0

The place has been very well thought and with attention to detail, everything you would need for a great holiday was provided for. Prinos port is nearby (5 min walk on the beach or 1.5km with car) where you can find bank ATM, tavernas & a supermarket. Great beach, perfect for kids - not shallow, no rocks, clean waters. You can find more groceries / meat for the BBQ in Prinos city (3km away, not the Prinos Port). Also every Monday there is a big Farmer's Market in Prinos city, I recommend visiting it.

Vicky, who is truly an amazing woman and host, remembered me, to my surprise, and even remembered in which room I stayed the previous time. We stayed in a room with mountain view on the first floor that was beautiful and very peaceful, like all of Skala Prinos. I really rest during my time here and the hotel is among my top places to recharge!

Was a bit leaking on our room, but I guess it was fine. View is fine from hotel, you will be staring at lit palms, for your long night conversations. Not too many mosquitos which is a plus too. AC works well, but leaks a bit onto balcony, but not big of an issue once you have that size of balcony.
