For archeology lovers, Villa Jovis is the biggest imperial roman palace remaining on the island, with a beautiful hike through the outskirts of Capri town up to the Villa Jovis, and a gorgeous park next to it, Parco Astarita, with breath-taking views of the sea.
For hikers, you can hike along the western coast of the island from a lighthouse in the southwest (Faro) to Grotto Azzuro in the northwest, through diverse terrain of mediterranean forests, rocks and cliffs above the sea (sometimes scary), and ruins of old forts along the way.
Chair lift at Monte Solaro brings you to a great almost full circle view of the island.
Anacapri, the second town on this little island, has more diverse restaurant options relative to the chic Capri, with a short bus ride between the two.

We went in November so the weather was not great and many restaurants were closed. There were a couple options in Capri and a couple in Anacapri. Otherwise it was very pretty and a magical experience.

One more day would have been great.
One more day would have been great. We loved walking and exploring the island. We walked over to the other side and down to the water. The walk back up was not easy, but the weather was perfect. We took a taxi over to Anacapri to see the Villa San Michele and experience that side and really loved it. Restaurants are fantastic, people are great and the sights and sounds are so unique.

I absolutely loved Capri.
I absolutely loved Capri. There is so much to do both leisurely and adventure. There are plenty of hiking trails and ways to get “lost” around the tiny island if you want. And there are also several beaches, shops, tours and such that you could do for a week long. The restaurant scene is fantastic and the views from just about any part of the island are breath taking. The only downside is Capri is very pricy. You could easily spend € 70-100 on 2 drinks and a snack.

Capri is absolutely a wonderful place.
Capri is absolutely a wonderful place. The beauty takes your breath away. However, the prices are astronomical. €92 for two ceaser salads and two Coke.....! Ridiculous! The same meal in Ireland would cost €20! The taxis charges and everything really are ridiculously overpriced. However, the public transport is very fairly priced. The sights though makes up for it. Absolutely beautiful.
The location was fantastic, close to town centre, loads of fantastic places to eat, shopping and only a few minutes from the Gardens of Augustus and Capri Rooftop. The breakfast was great and the service was amazing. Staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful with everything, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel restaurant also served delicious food which was handy if you are too tired to go anywhere. Oh and ocean views from your balcony too!
Everything, this has been my best hotel in my trip traveling through Italy. We had an amazing and delicious breakfast in the balcony with a wonderful view. There is a beautiful, almost private beach just in front of the hotel and the location was perfect!! The staff are the best, she gave us very good suggestions on what to do and where to go. For a honeymoon would be a wonderful place. Very romantic Island and hotel.
We were looking for a location in Capri town and this hotel is perfect. Great location but quiet and very nice amenities. Our room was larger than expected and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with plenty of options and very nice atmosphere with efficient service. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in helping us plan our activities each day. I will stay here again someday.
We were very happy with the choice of our hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean with air conditioning, and the service was kind and friendly. Alex was kind enough to provide a shop from which we could rent motorcycles which allowed us to explore anacapri and go to restaurants very easily. It was a delight to come back to our rooms after days at the beach. Overall lovely experience!
I love how the owner of the hotel was so caring about every detail, she was so nice and sweet and extremely helpful with anything. The location was marvelous! It was beside marine piccola free and private beaches and a foot step from the bus station that takes you to the square of capri. I highly recommend it, everything was perfect, and there’s nothing to complain about.
Hotel Canasta is a beautiful boutique hotel on the gorgeous island of Capri! Our room was large with a gorgeous balcony with ocean views. Amazing pool area to relax by and swim in. Couldn't fault any part of this stay. Everyone helpful when we needed assistance. Short walk into the main area - a few hills but doable! Enjoyed every minute.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Capri Wine Hotel, for starters we loved that they picked us up at the port with no extra charge to carry our luggage and us up to the hotel. The staff was amazing - very friendly and welcoming, they also gave us amazing recommendations that we would have not found without their help!
Costanza was such a nice host, helpful and fully devoted to make our stay a wonderful experience. Value for money was excellent for Capri terms and I would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to explore beautiful Capri without overspending on the posh hotels. We will definitely come again.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location and a very good breakfast.
Bathroom toiletries are very good quality.
Complimentary cake and limoncello in the room - very good.
Upgraded to a suite, which was fantastic and if we we were returning to Capri, would definetly stay here.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
View is beautiful and some of staff are helpful lady serving at pool very nice and friendly, Antonio is lovely and helpful too.. quick taxis to get out, capri is amazing but this hotel may ruin your experience, get out to Capri town, Anacapri and go see blue caves to make up for a horrible stay.
Apart from the weather we had a great trip to Capri , I’m sure the sun will shine the next time we visit.Staff in the hotel particularly friendly and helpful with good recommendations for restaurants . We’ve ate a hearty breakfast and a lovely lunch on the veranda on the Sunday of our arrival .
A delicious breakfast of homemade cake, cappuccino, yoghurts, buttered toast and jam is served on the terrace. The hotel is well located 5 minutes walk from the main square of Capri, funicular, bus stop. I thank Anna for the warm welcome, pleasant communication and help in all matters.
The hotel is and Spa are truly 5 star. Food was fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Chaminda who was always there to take us to and from the center of Capri. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are considering staying in Capri 👍🏼
Location was great just a short (but uphill) walk from the port and to the centre of capri, beautiful views from the hotel with a nice outdoor and pool area. Staff were really nice and helpful too
The hotel was fantastic. The owner was present at all times and it was evident the love and hard work that has been it in to make this one of the best stays in Capri! We will definitely be back!
We had an amazing experience at Capri Tiberio for our honeymoon. The hotel was modern and design is impeccable. The staff were all very helpful and warm. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Capri Town. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was immaculate, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Quiet area.
Good breakfast choices.
This hotel was lovely in all aspects, accommodations, staff, food, view, location, and gorgeous pool. After exploring most of Capri and Anacapri would definitely stay here again.
