Great location in the quiet town of Marsaxlokk. Incredible view of the fishing boats, town, and harbor. It was fun to watch all the boat traffic. The Sunday fish market was very fun. Go early if you want to buy fish. Some great restaurants in town. Easy to explore from here if you have a car and then come back and relax on the terrace. There are two shared bathrooms for the four bedrooms.

Bustling in the day with a market on the promenade (...
Bustling in the day with a market on the promenade (especially on Sundays), but peaceful in the evening. Plenty of places to eat with fish being a speciality. Easy to get buses to Valetta (took around 45 minutes) and from there connect to other places of interest.

Marsaxlokk is a very nice area that is perfect for anyone...
Marsaxlokk is a very nice area that is perfect for anyone who would like a very relaxed holiday. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We ate at a different one every day so I can honestly say there isn’t a bad restaurant or takeaway there. There is a big market on Sundays with lots to see and buy but there are also smaller markets nearly every day. Marsaxlokk is also a great central location if you want to visit some of the popular attractions on the Island as none of the attractions are no more than 10-30min Uber ride away. We didn’t want to leave so we would definitely visit and stay in Marsaxlokk again

This is a perfect place to base yourself for a vacation in Malta. Marsaxlokk is a pretty fishing village with a great Sunday market and lots of quality restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here rather than one of the resort towns such at St Paul's or St Julian's.

A beautiful fishing village with great fresh fish restaurants and good local boat trips. A daily market and a fish market on Sundays but very busy to get to by bus on a Sunday due to high demand. Great walks.

This is a charming traditional fishing village, most people eat fish which is locally caught. The harbour front is used for a daily market and is transformed at night with most restaurants having tables on the waterfront. There are regular bus services to the capital Valetta, this takes around an hour at busy times, but 35 minutes when quiet. The buses also run to the airport. The town is served by a large Spar supermarket and scattered shops selling food drink, bottled water (essential as the tap water is chlorinated and not drinkable) Do visit the Sunday market, great value for money. The pavements can be uneven. The people are friendly and helpful. Our favourite restaurant was Roots on the seafront, prices were reasonable and the fish freshly caught. The portions are big, loved their chips too.
The hotel is located just in front of the sea with an spetacular view in during the breakfast. The food is very fresh and home made prepared for you.. Delicious! The Marsaxlokk region is a very peaceful one when compared with Valetta, St. Julians, etc and this hotel has exactly the place mood. The staff is very kind and helpful! You can find the boat tours to Sts Peter Pool just some steps from the hotel and also various options of restaurants..
The breakfast is okey. The Location was great, near the fishing village and i was able to experience also the marsaxllok Market. It is really walking distance from the sea.You can walk in the night with no worries. What love most is the people.Very friendly. And also the owner of the hotel is very approachable and has also a restaurant that has 10% discount for the customer checking in the Hotel.I meet also the staff Kareen ,very friendly.Kodus.
Great service, very nice staff and quiet location on a side street. Upon request, the accommodation will also provide a reliable shuttle service to and from the airport (€10 per trip). Marsaxlokk Pier is less than a minute's walk away. Marsaxlokk is a quiet fishing village, which is just right for a relaxing evening after a long day in e.g. Valletta. There are also plenty of inexpensive restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Great: two bathrooms and two balconies! Spacious appartment and wonderful view. Only some minutes to walk to the harbour. Marsaxlokk is the niciest village of Malta. Especially in the evening, when most of the tourist are away. You can hear the neighbours in the house, but in the evening it was quiet. We wood recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at South Wind Guest House. Rooms are spacious, clean and stylish. Breakfast caters for different tastes with a nice mix of salty and sweet. Staff are kind and helpful. Hotel location is fantastic, very close to the promenade and with a lovely view over the water from the terrace.
The host is extremely nice and accommodating, making sure you have you have everything you need. Breakfast was amazing. We only stayed for one night but still, he made sure we didn't miss out on the blue grotto and the charming port of Marsaxlokk. Thank you so much for showing us around Salvu!
The staff are very kindly and helpful. The breakfast is fine and we can choose from custom varieties. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The location of the hotel at the best point of the village. The landmark from the hotel rooftop teŕace is beautiful and you can find a pool here.
Very comfortable room very close to the harbour. Tasty breakfast that can be eaten on the terrace. Very friendly and willing to help staff. Possibility to park your car nearby. No need to look for another place in Marsaxlokk as this is perfect. We are very satisfied and would love to return.
An absolute gem of a place in a lovely fishing village. Everything here was perfect -- from the location, the unique/spotless rooms and the helpfulness/friendliness of management, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Marsaxlokk (...or the whole of Malta). Perfect!
Wonderful property, warm, hospitable hosts, great breakfasts! Great set-up for a beach and foodie holiday; Marsaxlokk has the best seafood we’ve ever eaten. Duncan Guest House provided everything we needed for a fantastic stay in southern Malta!
A very clean apartment with a beautiful balcony view of Marsaxlokk with everything needed for a great stay. Michelle and the staff at Quayside are very friendly and helpful, and i would definitely recommend staying at Quayside.
Nice small hotel, breakfast and airport transfer included. They also own restaurant at the Marsaxlokk promenade, where you can get 10% off. The hotel is new and clean, definatelly worth it. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
spacious apartment, kitchen facilities, location - close to sea and amazing Marsaxlokk boat port.
Friendly and pleasant hosts.
Nearby bus stops - excellent bus network , but it is necessary to calculate with bus delay
Very good location, value for money stay, excellent personnel, highly recommended. Marsaxlokk has easy (with taxi apps) and cheap (about 8 euros) connection from Airport and direct communication (bus 81) with Valetta.
