Our recent stay at The Leela Hotel Mumbai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until our seamless checkout, every aspect of our visit was meticulously taken care of, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
The service at The Leela Hotel is truly unparalleled. From the front desk to housekeeping, the spa, and the restaurants, every team member went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Special mention must go to Kashmira, who made our stay extraordinarily special. She arranged our transport effortlessly, organized a stunning birthday arrangement in our room, and even remembered our favorite flowers from our previous visit, placing them beautifully in our room. Kashmira is an absolute credit to the hotel, showcasing professionalism, warmth, and a dedication to creating a flawless experience that we've never encountered before.
Our rooms were exquisite, offering the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The entire property exudes old-world Bombay charm that newer five-star hotels simply cannot replicate. The Leela Hotel's ambiance is a delightful blend of luxury and heritage, providing a spacious and serene environment. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel feels like a tranquil oasis. My kids were warmly welcomed by all.
Spa was amazing! Massage was so lovely. Great spa manager.
Having stayed at many five-star properties across India, The Leela Hotel Mumbai stands out as the most outstanding. The team welcomed us with professionalism, open arms, and open hearts, making us feel like family. Every detail, from the service with a smile to the heartfelt interactions, contributed to a truly remarkable stay.
Loved the Royal Club Package with amazing all day snacks, drinks and beautiful lounge so worth the upgrade. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of the staff who made our visit so special- especially Kshmira.

After arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus we had a bad experience. A grey-bearded man wearing a turban - I assumed he was someone’s grandfather meeting a family member off the train - advised us not to go with the porter who had offered to help us with our cases. The man in the turban said he’d help us get to our hotel and called over 2 younger men who escorted us to a waiting taxi. When my husband asked what the fare to the hotel would be one of the men said all taxis in Mumbai are metered. When we reached the hotel the taxi driver drove into a side street and demanded Rs5,000. We asked to see the meter which showed Rs3000. We knew from our research that the fare ought to be around Rs600 for the distance we’d travelled.
We argued and the tone which up to then had been friendly turned menacing. We were told to pay what the meter said. Reluctantly my husband counted out out 6 x Rs500 notes and handed them to the driver. Next thing the driver told my husband he’d paid the wrong banknotes and showed us 4 x Rs20 notes in his hand. Now my husband had only had 10 x Rs500 in his wallet, so we knew the driver was lying. Anyway, to cut this long story short, we grabbed our bags and just moved off quickly to the hotel entrance.
I have taken the trouble to write of our experience because I believe other travellers arriving at LTT need be warned to avoid these shady characters.

We attended the Kala Ghoda Art Festival that was held from the 20th to 28th Jan2024. in Mumbai . It is an amazing festival that encompases all forms of art ......being cinema; poetry readings; crafts ;fine art ; classical indian dance forms ; great museums; walking tours of colonial buildings; street food tours and much more. The highlight for us was the nightly free live music concerts at an open air venue under perfect evening weather of Mumbai. These were all in the central Kala Ghoda area . The myriad of new age boutique eateries were a treat !
It is also very easy to get around these places using the popular local cabs or Uber .
The location is quite, for someone with sleeping problem, if the hotel at the crowded place, it will be a problem for me. But i can sleep well during my stay in Arnna Hotel. Its not far from train station and also near airport. The staff is really helpfull and nice. The staff who welcoming us (Rahit) when we arrive almost midnight is really helpfull. Another one is Shariq who also give us information about place to visit. Its makes our stay in Mumbai is fun.
The staff here are amazing and will do anything to make your experience the best it can be. The location is perfect, walking distance to Taj hotel and Gateway to India. Airport transfers are available for a fee through the hotel or book on your own using any app or taxi service. Breakfast is outstanding and rotates daily; honestly some of the best breakfasts I had during my 10 days across India. Highly recommend.
All staff is extremely professional, polite and helpful. I stayed on 19th floor and want to specially thank Housekeeping staff - for little little things they did without my asking but that anticipated my needs.
For a relatively older hotel it is remarkably well maintained compared to most other 5 stars.
Location is unbeatable. Wifi is amazing. Food quality also amazing, best in country.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent bathrooms. There is a safe and a small fridge.
The rooftops restaurant is a definite plus.
The sea facing rooms have a wonderful view, but this does come at an extra cost. Be aware that being at the front means street noise.
We used the hotel's airport pick up service. The driver was waiting with a large comfortable vehicle.
Total lack of professional management from the standards of 5 star hotel. The scheduled check in in time was 2pm but we were not allotted the rooms till 5pm as the same was so called being “under sanitization’. There were more than 50 such guest screaming and shouting to no avail. I have never seen such mess and chaos in a 5 star rated property. Very disappointed.
Spacious and large rooms, that are done up to a high standard. Definitely one of the best airport hotels I’ve stayed at. Special shout out to the reception team, who understood my jet lag and accommodated a late check out accordingly. Will highly recommend as it is the best you can get in Mumbai for such a reasonable price point.
The best 5 star hotel in Mumbai. Everything is perfect in terms of staff, cleanliness, ambience, rooms, food etc. Also, the housekeeping is also so friendly and cooperative. The experience was just seamless from check-in to check out. They had also planned a mini surprise for my birthday, which put in an extra smile on my face.
I came from Russia to India. Glad to see how helpful indians are. The hotel manager helped me for even small things. Room was good and fragrance was superb all over the hotel. Location was the reason to book hotel adore palace as it is near from mumbai airport. I can say without a doubt this was the best stay in india so far
Minimalist quiet place which feels like home. The greenery and the poolview balcony make it more exquisite than most 5 star hotels. The staff is so friendly and helpful that you feel perfectly at home and not just "served" as in most much more expensive places. Loved it!
Everything is beautiful and service is like 5 star… This guy shannon taken good care of me and very helpful…
Hotel location is very good for transit passengers…
I definitely will be back and also recommend my friend.
Once again thanks to shannon for everything🙏🙏🙏
One of the best Hotel in Mumbai,Value for money and very close to the mumbai International Airport,Good hygiene was maintained,Staff was very polite and professional,Breakfast lunch dinner is very good, Quantity and quality of food is very very good...
The hotel is an incredible property itself, but what makes it even the best spot in Mumbai is its location - Ballard Estate is a beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood with amazing cafes in a rather chaotic city, while being extremely centrally located
Staff, facilities and location. I stayed in 5 stars hotels in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Kochi during my trip in India and can affirm that Trident is definitely the best in terms of quality services
the showers is not clean
the shower is not very good working and water can spells over easily
5 stars hotel has no special car
cleaning the room may be delayed
