Quiet, relaxing place.
Quiet, relaxing place. But that depends on what part of Pera you are staying in. You need a car to get around the places. But if you not travelling much you can use Uber. It's fast and not to expensive.MariuszIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0
If you're after relaxation then come to the village of Pera.
If you're after relaxation then come to the village of Pera. It's very chilled out. You will have a taste of authentic Portuguese life here. There are a few small restaurants, bars and a market. There's an Aldi 5 mins drive away. A car is most definitely required whilst here!!

We were greeted by the lovely owner who gaves us keys. When there is an issue or when you want to ask question there is a nice lady eager to help. It is not too far from Armacao de Pera - 20 minutes walk through peaceful fields or 5 minutes drive. We would love to go there more often or stay forever ;) Obrigado/Obrigada

Large outdoor table which is great for meals and family games. Walking distance to old Pera village and 30 minutes to the beach. A quiet area away from all the noise of bigger towns. Private. Nice pool and social area/bar and, for me, I don't mind walking through the dune park towards the lagoons and then the sea. Pera has local people, a few small supermarkets and restaurants. The bus stop is close to the resort and easy to get to other places towards Portimao and back to Albufeira.
