We were there in March, not in the season. The city centre had nothing interesting to offer – just a bunch of really cheap looking bars and clubs. But if you go to the beach and just a few minutes from the main streets, the nature really is breathtaking.

Ayia Napa is a great place for a winter trip as long as the accommodation has thick blankets. Less tourists than in the hot summer months, but still warm during the day. Best cafe/restaurants are by the harbour with live Greek music. Xmas decorations good. Sculpture park very good. Good bus service.

Best advantage is that it close to center, but not in busiest area, so you can both relax or work at the same time, while being 5 mins away from nightlife. Wi-Fi was great.
