Located near downtown Talkeetna, a very interesting little town, our lodging was a single story studio apartment with separate bathroom, kitchen facilities with table, king sized bed, couch and coffee table, and plenty of space. It was very clean and nicely decorated and stocked with very interesting books about the area. The owners were extremely sociable and shared all kinds of experiences around the outdoor fireplace, including their interest in gold mining and mountain climbing. They met our train coming into town and took us to the bus station upon our leaving. We thought the place had a rustic air with its burl porch posts and outdoor climbing decor. It was great and convenient and very well maintained and we highly recommend the family run Inn.

We loved the house. It was very nice and clean yet had a very comfortable feel. This was one of the best stocked places we have stayed at yet! Just about anything we needed was available to us from kitchen needs to extra towels, sheets & consumables. There were extra blankets and throws everywhere. Well organized and easy to find things including brooms & vacuum to clean up any sand or wood shavings that may have come in with us. Also, LOVED the wood stove! One note, the upstairs area with the twin beds is really cute, but the stairs going up are very steep and open so would not be the best for really little children, elderly folks or people who are physically compromised. Definitely recommend this place.

Le Chena Valley Cabin, parfait pour l'observation des aurores est situé dans Pleasant Valley. The property was so cute! Lovely cabin tin a the woods and small clearing. The cabin was also in the perfect location to see the lights because it was outside of the city enough to not have too much city lights, but close enough to go to Fairbanks and other cute areas to visit during the day time. The house had everything you needed for a great stay. They even provide firewood for out door fire pit which was a fun night to roast marshmallows. The owners where so sweet even when I had a hard time finding the place do late at night.

Idéalement situé Fairbanks Location de vacances! est situé à Fairbanks. This location maybe the sweet spot. It is just a short drive to the heart of the city but felt like we were deep in the woods. Being attached to the main house, we felt on an adventure, yet safe. Our hosts made us feel welcome from the first moment. If you're looking for a sense of "the real Alaska" without having to give up all the niceties of modern living, you can't go wrong with this property.
