We are offering a quiet and cosy experience in our little vintage house situated in San Giovanni. The building was built in the 1924, and the entire suburb has got Villas with the same characteristics and style. We have tried to preserve the originality of the place, so that you can still feel the authentic atmosphere of being in Roma. You can benefit from/take advantage of our comprehensive book selection regarding Italian and Roman history, history of art, exc. The house has an open space with a large double bed and dining area, a kitchen with induction plates and all the needs and bathroom. You will be able to use our fantastic terrace and garden. The location is super central but peaceful at the same time. Transports: The house is extremely well connected to the city centre by 2 metro and buses. If you land at Fiumicino’s airport you can catch the Leonardo’s train that takes you at Roma Tuscolana station which is 600m away from La Casetta. If you land at Ciampino’s airport you can catch the bus 520 get off at Tuscolana-Cinecittà stop, from there catch the Metro A to Re di Roma which is 5minutes walk from La Casetta. To move around there are two metropolitan lines, both are within 500m from here (Re di Roma-Lodi)

La Casetta is ten minutes walking from the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. On the way you can enjoy breakfast- lunch or aperitif at Gastromario, or at the super cool Materia. If you like walking, you can reach the Colosseum in 25 minutes. From Monday to Saturday there is a fresh fruit and vegetable market just in the next street and several supermarkets (also opened 24 hours a day). Full of bars, restaurants, bistro’s and pubs. You can enjoy Italian shopping in Via Appia
