Haika Home Lodge is set in Dar es Salaam, within 10 km of Tanzania National Stadium and 18 km of Kunduchi Water Park. I spent 4 nights at Haika and I felt like home. All the staff were very welcoming, caring and helpful. They assisted me in every matters beyond their duties. They escorted me to buy bus tickets and a local sim card and they booked a taxi everytime I needed one. The food was delicious and they were always ready to meet special needs. The room was big and clean with mosquito nets at the windows and a fan in the ceiling. The mattress was very comfortable. The garden was well-kept. Stella found also a tailor for me that sewn a dress with local fabrics.

The Hotel looks very new, very clean and very interesting. We liked especially the Panoramic Elevator, wich looks to the Ferry - Port and the Bay. Also, the Restaurant on the 8th Floor, with Dance Music and Swimming Pool was very inviting.
