It serves its purpose, we spent most of the days out knowing the city so we didn’t bump into any of the other people staying in the other rooms. Very clean, our bedroom was perfect for two people. We didn’t use the kitchen, but the bathroom was also nice! It felt safe because you have the keys of your bedroom so you can lock it when you leave to prevent any accidents. Would recommend and if we come back to London we surely would stay here again!

The hotel was great. They were really busy with an event when we were there but it was all good. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but the room was fine. It was clean. It's an old building that has been altered and renovated repeatedly so if you expect perfection, this isn't for you. I would stay there again.

An easy mile walk to city center. Just one street from a major artery, less than half a mile to a mcD’s. First house from corner, but a one-way street, so zero road noise Property managers were very responsive to a any problems. Nice shared space. Nice kitchen. Access to laundry Excellent value.

Problems with electronic key locked us out of house twice. No extra bedding available. We stayed cold. Only one bath towel for 2-night stay. No lesser towels at all Breaker blown in our room. In-enclosed shower always got floor wet, and not just a little bit!

booked a room for my mum for her birthday and her friends surprised her in the room, they had a fabulous stay and ate at the bastion, they loved the meal and mentioned the staff during breakfast the next day were exceptional xx

It was easy to get to and close to the grocery store and the bus. Was quiet despite being so close to a main road. Nice size kitchen and Comfortable bed (but there were hairs left from prior guest).

I did not appreciate constantly being asked for payment ahead of time, when it said payment was due upon arrival when booking and I had already provided my credit card information to book on website. They wanted me to transfer money instead of using my credit card, which I did not like to do at all. Also one bed had hairs from prior guest still on the sheets.

The bathroom was lethal with a step up into it and a lip when you stepped out so a risk of tripping. The noise from the taxis beeping their horns all night woke me at 3am and I couldn’t go back off as it continued periodically
