The room was modern, spacious, spotless, with a comfortable king bed, an immaculate all-marble bathroom, a kitchenette, and access to a patio with a wonderful view of Sintra National Palace. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and the host was welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was excellent.

Very nice guest house with common kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Breakfast and snacks were very generous and delicious. Hosts were very friendly and patient with our language differences. Great place to stay to explore the Serra Estrela mountains, which were beautiful!

It was a little difficult to find the home and maneuver through the small town streets, but neighbors were helpful and friendly.

Location was great - near college, restaurants/cafes, easy walk to things. Our host was great too and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the fresh bread every day and also the supply of breakfast goodies!

Both the temperature control/AC and the sliding door to the veranda was malfunctioning ; the latter is a safety issue. Staff needs to check that every room is in good condition before check-in.
