Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaSignage on the street is not very clear so when I arrived I was not sure which door to try and enter to get to the lobby on the second floor.
Very friendly and helpful reception. The room had two beds for the three of us, on the fourth floor where the breakfast room is, and had a small balcony with pretty flower boxes. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of juices, breads, cheeses, meats and eggs. Walking distances to where we wanted to get to were short enough and the location meant we got to see a lot of Rome. Our walking tours included the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and the Vatican. While it was close to the central train station Termini, we did not have opportunity to use it.

United States of AmericaCramped bathroom with little storage space. Very small and crowded breakfast room that was difficult to navigate.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Sufficient outlets. Great little balcony (junior suite). Not much noise with the balcony doors closed. Elevator. Desk was staffed 24 hours.

South KoreaThe breakfast was quite disappointing. It was included for all rooms so I don't think you can choose not to have it, but the coffee, food, and desserts(fruits, pastry) were all pretty bad. That was my only bad meal in the city.
I liked the location! It was easy to get around, especially if you're planning to visit cities around Rome it's very close to the train station (Termini). The terrace is what I paid for and I'd say it was worth it, but the room wasn't spacious enough to stay at the hotel but it would be nice for a tea time in between busy schedule if you can come back to the hotel.

MontenegroAlmost nothing
The hotel pleasantly surprised us with many things: its location - many attractions can be reached on foot; breakfast - laconic, but for every taste. Andriana at the reception is very kind. She was always ready to help and to support. Any requests were fulfilled with sympathy and very quickly. Thank you so much personally!

United States of AmericaThe pillows were flat and uncomfortable. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk and we had to walk down 2 floors to get there. I didn't use my cell phone as it was international rates.
The location was good and the staff very accomodating.

United States of AmericaI booked a double or tween room 4 months in advance, but got a chance to get the smallest room. The worst part was that - it was the only room on the 4rd floor that has an other room’s bathroom behind the wall next to the bed and I don’t belive the wall was insulated for the sounds
helpful front desk staff. good breakfast. Prefect location. 5 min to wake up to the train station.

United KingdomBreakfast was fine , but the room so tight was un comfortable having to keep waiting for other guests to move away . Might be better to do room service . We got pack up two mornings as was out early and this was good. Girl who worked in there very friendly and everything set up as good as could be with the space given. Have stayed in four and five star hotels for the same price as this very expensive.
Staff were very good, good customer service

PortugalAbout the cleaning , maybe the only point to improve.
The location is perfect! We could reach any attraction point in about 30 min walking . The best way to explore the city 🤗 The staff is wonderful , they gave us very good recommendations about good places to eat. Also they are very friendly and nice! About the breakfast , despite it is very small space, it had everything ! Tasteful and very good cappuccinos 😁
