TV in room not very useful for non Thai tourists (only Thai channels) but wasn’t going to watch TV anyway. There are many chickens & roosters around the house. Nice company but can be noisy in de night / early morning

Place was clean and tidy & many services offered at reception eg laundry. Details in room such a fridge, airco, cereals and kettle.

Was so beautiful, location was lovely just outside of the main town. We had wild chickens come up to our porch and lay eggs even. Very easy to book tours and transport, the staff where super accommodating and friendly

The room we were staying faced the river and was wonderfully quite with birds chirping. The room was not very big but had a small bed space at mezzanine floor for kids to sleep. The property seemed to be relatively new. The bathroom were clean and well equipped.

For just one night, while waiting for the ferry to the island, the hotel served its purpose well. The staff kindly arranged a bus to the pier for me. Additionally, I received a mini-map highlighting a few nearby attractions—I would have loved to stay longer to explore them further.

Great place to stay in Chumphon, the rooms are big and private. Located in front of a river with free acces to use Kayak or a bicycle. Very recomendable, i will come back.

The days we spent in Villa Varich were very hot and it was hard to find to do something to escape the heat. Would be great if the place had a small pool.

We booked three nights at Villa Varich, but only ended up staying one. While it’s a beautiful property it was a little farther out of town than we’d fully understood and getting a Grab or taxi wasn’t always easy. The Villa is nicely designed and comfortable. Unfortunately, because of the rural location, there’s a lot of (nature) noise (roosters, wild dogs, etc.). I literally didn’t sleep that night, despite using ear plugs. Not the fault of the property, but something to be aware of. We were also there during a heat wave, and no pool on the property was going to be a problem for us. The owners and staff are amazing, as is the coffee! When I talked to the owner about the situation, he immediately suggested that I contact booking.com to request a refund, and said that he would approve it. We were fully expecting to pay for the two nights that we didn’t stay, and were very appreciative of their understanding. So, in summary, if you have transportation and are looking for a unique stay, Villa Varich is good value, and may be just the place for you.

Beautiful, extremely relaxing and peaceful place surrounded by nature. We loved to be woken up by rooster crowing, bird chirping. Staff was the most helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back.

The staff was wonderful. Spoke great English and helped us with bike rental, shuttle to the ferry, and quite literally everything we needed. The room was very big and comfortable. There was a great common area with food and snacks. Bed was made every day, And mini bar in the room was also filled. Free bottled water was also refilled every day. The location is great, right on the river in a beautiful, quiet spot. I have zero complaints. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely a 12/10 stay. I didn't want to leave, I tried to extend my stay but they were fully booked. Tang and Khom are amazing. Helped me out so much for my onwards trip. The drip coffee is amazing, locally grown and they roast it on site out the back and grind it fresh daily! Honestly, the place is the dream. I'd have happily spent the rest of my thailand trip here.
