Super nice owner, great location and the rooms were also okay. Of course it is not a hilton, but for the Price its perfect! I recommend the breakfast for 6 usd before trips :)

It is a nice hostel. The room we had was nicely spacious. The owner was super nice and very helpful, she gave us many useful tips. The drinking water was easily available in the kitchen. The guesthouse is very close to the beach and in our opinion very good in price-to-quality ratio. We could see many flamingos in the pond behind the hostel. The internet connection was actually pretty good (at least in the top floor where we have been situated). The owner also has a bar which is just across the street, it is a nice place, directly on the beach!

The location right on the beach was excellent. The room was spacious and well laid out. Staff was incredible. Our first room was at the end of the walkway into the complex, so there was no privacy whatsoever unless we closed the blinds, but then we'd lose the excellent view. Our second room was so much better for us. Also, I injured my ankle during my stay. Lovely Melia accompanied us to the nearby medical center to interpret for us and make sure I got the care I needed. That, to me, was beyond customer service. They really care about their guests.

Hotel is located in the second row of the beach. There is party at the beach (Pink Iguana Bar) on Fridays and Saturdays. I heard guests with rooms facing the beach complaining about noise during weekend nights. My room was facing the back country. With my windows closed I did not hear anything during weekend nights.

I loved Hotel Sierra Negra! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The view is wonderful, offering spectacular scenery that really enhances the experience. Also, the location is excellent, being very close to everything you need, which makes getting around very convenient. The location was amazing, just in front of the beach. Walkable to everything you need. The breakfast was nice, with the lovely pool view. They have a great view for the sunset on the rooftop. Also, guys who works there always been kind and helpful. Wifi so so… not so bad but should be improved.
