The room was nice and compact Kitchenette was great. Staff where great they helped us. Glad they provided ear plugs to block out inconsiderate people. I take my hat off to the staff after reading reviews, it would be hard to put up with whinging people and their stupid little complaints. Example noise from gutter when raining, bed too hot (take blankets off), smell of ash fire place, ETC We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Spacious room, very clean. The spa tub was amazing. Full kitchen with everything you need to make a range of meals. Very short walk to shops and restaurants. I visited Whistler off-season - right after the Victoria Day long weekend. It was quiet/serene on Monday night (the departure day for many guests) and wonderful to stroll around within the village and walk along the trails - regardless whether it was quiet on Monday or busy again the next days. Knowing Whistler for decades I recommend Whistler for everything on the list except Tango and Tropical Weather :). The 4 Course Menue at Araxi was delicious and well priced.

I and my two grandsons were there for the skiing and found conditions much better than expected. Being able to ski all the way to Creekside at this time of the season was amazing. The grooming on all the runs that were open was excellent. All of this made it an excellent trip for us.
One more thing: The staff in Guest services on the mountain is VERY polite, helpful and efficient. I can not say the same for the people you get to speak to on the phone.

I have skied in many resorts in Europe and North Amerika, and Whistler-Blackcomb is on top of my list. The view, the variety of runs, the lifts, the grooming are all excellent. I will visit again before the end of this season and bring my two grandsons with me.

WE always try to eat at Araxi when in Whistler - been a favorite dining spot of ours for over 20 years. Spring time in Whistler has walking, hiking, skiing and is less crowded than high season. Nice finishing touch to the our ski year. The views from the top Harmony and Symphony chairs are the best!

Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Our accommodation was clean and good location but lacking in some amenities.
Depending on where you stay it can be quite a walk to the lifts.
If you want a more quiet stay go to the Blackcomb side. However most of the restaurants, shops etc. are in the village.
Location is great - it is a street away from the village. It takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the gondolas/ski lift. The room was very clean. I LOVE that this hotel allows dogs for a reasonable price - there are not many in Whistler and Aava is the best accommodation location/price wise. We also used the hot tub and pool, it was great. They also have a ski locker and a boot dryer in the basement which is super convenient. They all have a parking garage (for a maybe $20 per day?).
Overall I felt like the hotel really gave the feeling of a resort, like you could just hang out there and not have to worry about anything else. The entrance was welcoming with some lemon/lime water and the usual grandness of a Fairmont. The room was comfortable, bed pillows were nice. It's great you can just take the shuttle to the village. Overall compared to the other two Fairmonts (Airport and Victoria) I would say it was good.
I stayed at this hotel with my family on a busy weekend. Because the hotel was at the edge of the Upper Village, it was nice and quiet which we appreciated. Walking to the Upper Village was easy enough and didn't take long. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room size was decent for a Whistler hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the sofa bed was not bad for what it was.
We are lucky to stay in a Sundial two bed room suite during our Whistler trip. Sundial has a perfect location, close to the gondola and village shopping center. The hotel is clean enough for our family with kids, and the staff is nice and work efficiently. We would like to book the Sundial for our next trip.
This hotel is perfectly located a very short stroll into Whistler village and all the wonderful aspects of this beautiful location. The rooms are clean and spacious with all the amenities you need on site. The staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable
Great room with small but functional kitchenette
Ski in ski out
Quiet location with regular free shuttle bus to village
Good spa & pool
Housekeeping daily & replenished toiletries & coffee
Ski & boot hire available in hotel
Complimentary ski storage
I stayed this hotel for snowboarding. Location was closed to Whistler Gondola and village.
I have no complain about location.
Room was nice and clean. But pillow was little bit smell which i was not happy.
Bathroom was clean and facility was good
The hotel was in a great location. It was older than some of the other hotels but the price was good, the front staff were friendly and the bathroom/kitchen appliances were good quality.
I would stay there again when visiting Whistler for skiing.
The location of the hotel was perfect. We only had a few minutes to walk to get to the gondolas for Mount Whistler and Blackcomb. It was very convenient to walk with all our ski equipment and get there fast.
Location was great, in the heart of Whistler village, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. The kitchenette had everything you need. Good views onto the mountains.
Room is situated in a nice hotel.
I came here with my girlfriend to enjoy the Whistler. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the village. Room was nice and clean, workers were very nice. I highly recommend this place.
excellent position of the hotel closed to sky area and Whistler village
Room large and very confortable and clean
I appreciate also the kitchen in the room
Spa great
Staff amazing
The Hotel was very beautiful but the room was basic, just like most hotels in Whistler. The pool area was over crowded and messy. It didn't feel safe for covid.
