It is not a hotel, it is home. The people there treat you like you are one of the family or owner of the room. From the entry olivier will welcome you and give all the support you need. Then the front desk will finalize all your paper and you will enjoy the room. Room size is very big and it is very clean and comfortable. Then you go to the restaurant, the chef Francisco is fabulous he will treat you like a king. The spa is deferent story, it is very big and you have multiple choices of steam room and sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Then hotel shuttle is also amazing they have Aston martin available to droop you to locations near the hotel. Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks.
Coop cafe is good and relatively cheap for budget conscious travellers.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland.
One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Almost all the houses are in chalet style, which gives the place a special charm. Lots of walking possibilities, also for seniors, and there are many lifts up the mountains.

Hiking and taking a lift to the top of the mountains was absolutely incredible. Very good signs made hiking between towns in the area simple and very rewarding views. Food in all towns was very very good, maybe best meal we had in the country.
The rooms are beautifully decorated in a homely fashion. The breakfast was very generous and of high quality. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, an absolute delight to stay at the hotel.
The spa area is another delight to relax and enjoy nicely heated pool plus sauna and steam bath rooms. The location is ideal if you want to use train or stroll in town close to all happenings in the lovely town of Gstaad.
We enjoyed thoroughly our stay and hope to visit it at another time again. Highly recommended.
The hotel is excellent for families with small children. There’s a playground and a kids club. Our 4-year-old son enjoyed playing there.
We also really liked the design both in the lobby and the room.
The staff is attentive and friendly.
The village (Saanen) is a short walk away and very cute.
Gstaad can be reached in five minutes by car or a short bike ride. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel.
Overall a very nice experience, already planning my next stay at Huus.
The location is the main advantage of this hotel. It lies on the Gstaad boulevard. This boulevard is like an authentic Swiss village street with lots of very expensive shops. Nothing too original. During the day it is very crowded but at night it is quit (end december). Restaurants in the area are nice, some very good but almost all are extremely expensive. (think 28 euro for a single starter). A nice skating ring is next to the hotel, as well as a public parking garage.
The apartment was in a perfect location for our stay. We were attending a festival on the Eggli mountain and the apartment was right next to the lift up the mountain. I imagine this would also be a perfect location for a ski holiday. It was clean and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It's a bit old school but well kept up and clean. If you don't need modern and luxury, this would be a fantastic place for your stay in Gstaad.
Quite simply, our best ever hotel experience! This is a wonderful hotel made so by the delightful team of friendly and caring people who made us feel so welcome. There are so many positives, including the breathtaking menus at breakfast, lunch and dinner, not forgetting the delicious afternoon cakes! The spa is superb and the unexpected bonus of free local rail travel capped off a wonderful week.
It is a lovely hotel, great atmosphere and staff and nice view from the rooms. The spa area is definetly great for a 3 stars hotel and far better than most 4 stars hotel we have enjoyed in other places in Switzerland. The food quality is great, a bit pricy i would say with a rather limited choices, but nothing that deserve complains.
Location is perfect to explore this wonderful mountain area. Breakfast was excellent, especially various local cheeses and different kinds of fresh fruit. Hotel restaurant is also great with many tasty dishes and extensive wine selection. Staff is super helpful, Swiss hospitality at its best.
The location is great, very central for the small township of Gstaad. Not a lot to do around town though during the shoulder season especially with a lot of construction making it difficult to enjoy the town.
Amazing stay at this beautiful place in Gstaad. Soothing view from the balcony. Place looks better than the pictures. Very comfortable and to top it up an extremely accommodating host. Highly recommended.
We had a fabulous stay. Very nice staff and location. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Hotel is very renovated. Spa area offers relaxing times. Gstaad just 15 minutes away. Breakfast was 10 out of 10.
Great view. Good breakfast and delicious dinner in restaurant. The staff all around the hotel are super friendly and helpful. You feel very welcomed here.
