The nights we stayed may 29 and 30th the woman working the evening desk is fanominal she help us get the room we wanted and she needs a compliment award for her service. The room however had unswept floors. The minute we removed our socks and shoes we could feel the dirt on the floors, yuck!.

River Inn at Seaside, hotel in Seaside

Located in the center of Seaside and overlooking the Necanicum River, River Inn at Seaside features an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub.

The breakfast was included which included offerings to make waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and beverages. The room had a coffee maker with plenty of supplies. The bed and their linens were very comfortable. They have a later check out than most locations at 12pm which we appreciated. The fire pits outside make for a cozy evening enjoying the river view.

    The view it’s nice.

The view it’s nice. But the rooms are not what i expected specifically for the pricing. The rooms are small. Smaller than other hotels in seaside. There are multiple things that need work and maintenance. The bathroom fan didn’t work, the balcony door and net are the hardest things ever to slide open, the pull out bed is unstoppable, the water pressure is weak and the seal from the main door is broken. The beds are comfortable but it seemed as if the didn’t changed our fitted sheet; it smelled weird compared to the other sheets and there were multiple hairs. We were told to come in through the main entrance as well as leave but a guest told us about the side doors from the building. Our requested accommodation were the opposite of what we requested: away from the elevator = put feet away from it & top floor= middle floor. When asked to move room we were ignored. The dog few rooms dog barked and barked and the. Hall was busy busy that it made it hard to sleep at night or nap during the day. I was very disappointed with the stay. We love going to seaside to distress and it was disappointing to not be able to rest and be woken up early in the morning. We paid less at another hotel with the same view and balcony. I wish they would had shown they actually wanted to help when we asked to move us room the second night. I will not be returning.

Rent Surreys for up to 6 peddlars 4. Seaside shootout for carnival games 5. bumper cars 6. The aquarium, say hello to the seals for me.

I absolutely love Seaside during the fall, winter, and spring. It's a quaint, quite, welcoming, small town with great tourist amenities. There are several decent restaurants and lodging options. Everything is just minutes away from the beach. You can't go wrong here. The summer though, it becomes quite crowded and difficult to get through unless on foot, but is no less charming.

Very quiet, relaxing place. Great eateries. Loved watching the crab boats and sunsets. Seaside Brewery is a great place as is Dundees Donuts (my husband left our credit card there and the owner took the time to find us to give it back...very impressive!)

The town focus is for summer beach tourists with families. There are arcades, bumper cars, .... The very large beach is a the end of the street through town. We had business in Seaside or would have stayed in Cannon Beach.

Overall it was good. The staff are really friendly and I live their complimentary cookies it was so good! However our 3 nights and 4 days stay there was okay it’s just that we were hoping they would come and clean our room every night since we stayed there for 3 nights. The pool was a little greeny and salty not sure if it was supposed to taste and look like that or it’s just not being cleaned properly. But other than that we loved our stay there coz it’s close to everywhere and pet friendly!

The king suite was a huge room and the kitchen was very well appointed. Traveling with our small dog, it sometimes feels as if the property options are a tick below those that are not pet friendly. We do not feel that way about Rivertides. Loved our river and city view which is a nice consolation for no ocean view. We have vacationed annually in Seaside for 20+ years. This is our new "go to" place to stay.

Lovely hotel with all the amenities you could want for a few days stay. Right on the 101 so really easy to find and great location for a base if you are driving. There are a few restaurants and bars near the hotel but the beach and main attractions of Seaside are about 25-30 minutes away by foot. But the walk is a pleasant one over the river and down to the town via the seafront path.

Location was great. It is located at the end of the promenade and right on the beach. I preferred the location as it was a bit quieter, but there was still a restaurant or two nearby. Rooms were clean and decent. The partial ocean view was simply a view from the balcony. I appreciated the bonus basket of towels, bowls and treats for my dog.

I loved the staff at this location. They made us feel like family, and had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was amazing we could see the ocean from our window. Also parking was close by and had enough room for our car. The hotel also had games and movies you can use in the office you just had to ask.

Nice and spacious with 2 bedrooms right on the beach. Loved it. Had a campfire on the beach right outside our room. But it is a quite busy motel with lots of motels right by it and a side walk that goes in front of all of them. So lots of foot traffic all around. Not your quiet getaway, but we loved it.
