Situated in Luang Prabang, 1.6 km from Night Market, Madilao Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. We loved everything about the Madilao…it was just what we needed to wind up our Laos stay. Rooms were spacious, spotless quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts offered a good choice and served on the patio near the pool was a lovely touch. The pool was also very welcome, clean and cool. The shuttle into town in the evening was also welcome and they even organised a trip to the waterfall for us. They provide bikes for free use, which we didn’t use, but they looked in good condition. The ride share company Loca was cheap and easy to use for other times, such as the airport which is close by. Would we stay again? Yes!

We ended spending 6 nights to enjoy more of the atmosphere, the hotel being ideally situated. Breakfast noodles are simple but very good, with a big fruit plate, very nice. You also have a choice of eggs and pancakes.

The courtyard leading up to our rooms was beautiful during the day and night. There is parking inside for motorbikes and bicycles.
