Everything about this hotel is not only excellent, but also EXTRA — the view is spectacular, the accommodations are immaculate and beautiful and tastefully curated, everything needed is provided, the food is of the highest quality and delightfully imaginative, the host is omnipresent in a good way and so kind, and the lush grounds are fragrant with the scent of orange trees and flowers. The hotel is set within a natural environment and you can reach the sea by going through a little field of orange trees. From the hotel you can go on many trips to Epidaurus, Mycenae or to the old capital of Nauplia with its shopping areas.

Angelica Villas Hotel Apartment was a godsend to us. Our rental car needed a repair, which had to be done in nearby Napflion, so we had no car for the evening. The hotel is located a couple of kilometers from the harbor, so our proprietress helped us get take-out for dinner (which we ate on our balcony with the most amazing views) and she did our laundry for 5 euros (note to travelers: it's not easy to find a place on Hydra or the Peloponnese where you can -- or someone will -- do your laundry). The breakfast on the terrace was lovely -- and she made eggs to order!
