A recently renovated property, Branco Suites - Rooms & Holiday Apartments is located in Santa Maria near Praia de Santa Maria, Praia António Sousa and Ponta da Fragata Beach. Very nice hosts who were always available for questions. Apartment has everything you need and is very close to the center and the beach.

Villa ao Mar offers accommodation set in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows and Nazarene Church. The appartments we rented were with ocean view, really spaceous and clean. Every night there are security people working and so we could leave our laundry outside to dry. Since the appartments are RIGHT by the beach you could come and go to the beach any time - day and night. Activities like snorkeling, kite surfing, diving and so on you can book anywhere in walking range. There are countless seafood restaurants nearby, rooftop bars as well. We highly recommend this place! The staff was really nice and helpful. We booked an extra late checkout without any problems. Five stars from us and very well deserved!

Set in Palmeira, the recently renovated LA VELA offers accommodation 5.4 km from Monte Curral and 6.3 km from Buracona the Blue Eye. Milanca was super helpful. Very handy location. Close to the bus stop, port and everything. We loved 'la vela'

Surfzone Beachside Apartments is located on the seafront in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria and 500 metres from Praia António Sousa. My stay started off worrisome, but Roderick worked with me to make it amazing in the end. A new club/bar had just opened across the street right before I arrived. So, the first night, I didn't sleep at all. I even tried 2 different types of ear plugs, but the bass was so loud that it was shaking my bed... until 2 or 3 in the morning. I told Roderick the next morning and he moved me to another room. Still noisy, so he moved me once again the next day. At this point, other guests were also complaining so he went to talk to the new owners. After that, it was smooth sailing. The noise from that club pretty much stopped for the rest of my 8-day holiday. My final apartment had a lovely view of the sea, was stocked with everything I needed, had fast wifi, and was in a great location. The bed is big and comfy and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill. It's still noisy at night, being in the center of the city. But I was fine after the new bar was sorted, even without ear plugs. I was in the sea view apartment on the top floor. There are tons of options for eating in the area and there's a dive shop across the street, and a small surf break. I could literally roll out of bed and be prepping for a dive or renting a surf board in less than 2 min. The beach is wonderful too. Stretching for miles with plenty of space for everyone. You could even find relatively deserted spots if you walked 15 min down the beach either way. There was a bit of hassling from local sellers, but they were mostly respectful of the first "no thanks." The streets were surprisingly clean. All-in-all, I had a fantastic time. If you are a beach/water sport person, this is the place to be to escape European winters.

Set in Santa Maria, 400 metres from Praia António Sousa and 600 metres from Praia de Santa Maria, Misturod - Holiday Apartments offers free WiFi and air conditioning. Phenomenal stay at Misturod! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 5 because of the comfort :) The bed was a spring mattress, but surprisingly comfortable and nice :) The wifi was powerful, stable and fast, which made computer work a breeze ^^ Probably the best thing at Misturod was the filtered water...helps save money and not worry about drinking from the tap. The AC was exclusive the bedroom, but was super strong and cooled things off quickly...which was great after hours in the sun! 5 minute walk to the main street and 5 minutes to the shell cemetery beach!!

Sal Service - Beach residence is a beachfront property situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia António Sousa and 300 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. The place is really wonderful, located near to the beach just couple of steps. People are so nice to each other in this residence. I definitely enjoy stay here and recommend it to everyone for relax :)

Everything was good. It was very clean and pretty. The staff facilitate us too many things as leave our laggage during the last day, or recommendations.

Very good location. The receptionists were friendly and did their best to solve our problem. The cleaners cleaned the apartment every day, towels were changed every two days.
