The owners, John and Joan, are absolutely delightful – friendly, patient, experienced, and deeply knowledgeable of the area. The hotel itself is immensely pleasant and cozy, charmingly decorated, with tea and books available to sip & browse. Don't even bother looking elsewhere; this is the spot.
